Note to owner: I arrived at 9pm the tv was off, music was off, and an employee was sweeping the floor. The salsa bar was empty, containers were outside of bar. This is a very usual at pollo salsa when you arrive at 9, very unwelcoming. When my food arrived my rice and chicken were as cold as a corpse. I bit a piece off with my teeth and stood up to inform the employee behind the bar that my chicken was cold. I assumed she would throw away my pieces of chicken since they were contaminated(from my mouth.) To my horror I get back the same piece of chicken I had bitten! They heated my chicken on the grill where they’re also grilling new chicken for costumers! That’s disgusting! Sorry you guys had to eat my saliva! While I was eating my chicken the employee was sweeping next to me and I could see dust! I probably ate dust as well. I also noticed an employee cleaning the kitchen with dirty rag while serving food. Never coming back! This has happened multiple times, am I the only one who has noticed this???

Pillow De Salsa is fantastic fire grilled Mexican style chicken. They also have all the standard Mexican dishes and a great variety at the salsa bar. Nothing fancy, but foosmis super tasty, fast and cheap.

Yummy! Great options and nice space. Drive through takes forever but going inside is a nice experience.

Food’s good but the drive-thru is sloooow. If you’ve got a spare half hour give ‘em a shot.

TRYIT! You can’t go wrong with flame-broiled chicken that’s super juicy and flavored just right! All the accompaniments are spot-on! And the price is just right!

I love that I can get street tacos from a drive through. I’ve tried the chicken and the beef tacos and I recommend the beef tacos hands down. I have also tried the rice which is very flavorful. I wouldn’t recommend the queso as it tasted very bland and had no flavor. The service is prompt and prices are very low. I’ve never had a issue with my order being incorrect or taking too long. This is not my go to taco place but a great alternative for me.

This place is almost 2 stars. The street tacos are ok and the service leaves much to be desired. However the chicken here is bomb, or simply delicious. I will order the 4 piece chicken and nothing else. The sides are not good either. I come every week there is a kickball game in the area.

Be ready to clean your own table off before dining. I guess they do not care about cleaning. Trash on floor making me wonder about the cooks. Broken English and dining area is always warm in summer and cold in winter.

I tried the knock off of Pollo Regio for convenience and have to say, I’m disappointed. The skin is a weird orange color looking like flavoring but it tastes bland as does the chicken. I got chicken only — four pieces $ 8, not even a bargain. I did ask for the hottest green sauce and got it. It was awesome but not even close to the awesomeness of Regio’s green«crack» sauce. The flour tortilla are booooo too. Drive the extra 7 minutes to Regio… it’s worth it.

Been here a couple times. The chicken is really good, very flavorful but the rice was undercooked which sucked because it had good flavor as well. I would have to say though, this place is over priced. It was somewhere around $ 9 for 3 pieces of chicken with beans and rice. I’ll give them another shot before ruling them out.

My wife and I were heading back home and it was getting on the late side and we wanted something fast. We each got a street taco plate via drive thru and headed home. Overall not too shabby. It was homestyle and simple, which I like in a taco. My only thing is, I prefer flour over corn any day of the week no matter where I am getting a taco. Now I keep seeing other reviews saying it’s as close to el pollo loco as you can get in Dallas. Excuse me?! I need to go back asap because I fell in love the crazy chicken out in Phoenix. I guess doing a quick drive thru wasn’t the way to introduce myself here. Once I get a chance to go back it will be during earlier hours and I’ll be checking out the inside.

This place is the closest thing to El Pollo Loco that I have found in Texas. I love how you can get fresh roasted chicken, rice, beans and tortillas. They also have an excellent fresh salsa bar. I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the service. The staff isnt that friendly at times and acts like they dont understand english well. They have messed up my order several times.

Love this place. My favorite is the Quesadilla Calfornia… just the right amount of kick. Everything is fresh, and the place even smells great with all the chicken on the grill. One minor nit… the refried beans don’t have much flavor.

Not very impressed with this place. The chicken that I ordered was dry. I would rather eat pollo regio with that delicious green sauce than here. Not that the prices aren’t affordable, but I expected a lot better, especially when chicken is your specialty.

Great quick lunch spot. All the ingredients are fresh and you can make your order as healthy(grilled chicken and grilled vegetable with rice) or as unhealthy(giant burrito) as you like. Something for everyone and a great homemade salsa bar

Had to take off points for dirty broom on floor and dirty floors. salsa bar badly needed cleanup and replenish. Quality of grilled chicken was very good. Very flavorful. Chicken was a little overcooked. If you want your chicken less done, please ask for it when you order. Staff was very willing to accommodate. Portions were plentiful. Refried beans were pretty runny and rice was nothing notable. Replace corn on cob for grilled vegetables no problem. Replaced chicken wing for leg no problem no problem. Staff was very nice. Arrived approximately two hours before closing. I will probably return and order chicken only for lunch. Portions of side orders were generous. Crinkle cut french fries were excellent.

A few friends and I went to check this place out! It was my first time so our friend ordered for us and we ate fam bam style! We ordered one 12 piece with one 6 piece grilled chicken to feed 7. It came with couple sides and tortilla so you can make your own chicken taco. My friend said putting everything in your taco is the way to go(chicken+coleslaw+rice+salsa+onions). So of course I put it all in! Hahaha it was good and at first the chicken was pretty moist but it tends to get more and more dry as you continue to eat your meal… It’s a cheap and chill place for dinner with family or with friends and I do love the concept of family style eating(literally sharing everything)!
