Good bun bo hue in the«Bario». Forget Phở Tay Do, the customer service, cleanliness and flavor of the food can not be matched here.

Best phó in town! I drive about 20 minutes just to go eat here! The place is really clean and the owners are very attentive. Everytime we go our waitress always remembers what we get.(We are regulars) everyone is very friendly. We usually get the chicken soup and egg rolls with a peanut sauce and grilled beef and rice and it’s always amazing! Totally recommend this place hands down!

First time here today and I’m pleasantly surprised. When you first walk in you kind of feel like it’s dead and there are no customers. But once you try the Phở broth you will not regret coming in for a bite. I think that’s the most important element of Phở. It’s all about the broth… clear…with flavor. and a little tang! And No MSG!!! The beef was also very good. I will warn you stay away from the meatballs! There is nothing meaty about the balls! Seriously they need to change the quality of the meatballs if you want to serve them! Also I would seriously serve fresh sprouts! Please!!! Fresh ingredients really make a difference! If you improve those 2 small items you will get repeat customers. So stop recycling the side vegetables!!! It’s so obvious! Haven’t tried the other items but will be back for sure!

If there’s on thing I hate about Dallas after moving from Houston, it’s how every so called authentic cultured restaurants Americanizes their dishes and make it all taste the same, minimizing the spices used, and labeling anything with pepper as «Spicy». Well I’m glad this restaurant didn’t give in and happy after living here for 2 years found a good phở restaurant along with other good dishes. Their phở actually tastes like beef phở broth and not just 99 cent chicken broth bought from Tom Thumb. I give this restaurant five bowls of soup out of five!

Wow thanks to my GPS for leading me to my wrong destination and I found this spot! I was very skeptical about this place only bc it was so empty, but to my surprise Everything was Great! I ordered chicken phở with one egg an spring roll and Thai tea to go! The broth was clear, smooth an flavorful, chicken was delicious! Only slight concern is my bean sprouts could have been a little fresher and my peanut sauce was a little runny, but I enjoyed this meal greatly, the even better experience was the service was superb! everyone was really nice(clearly family owned) ***they do charge 25 cents per item on Togo order for packaging(which is okay considering it was packed excellently an balanced, neatly, an heck packing is expensive so no worries) will Def be back! Boba in my Thai tea! awesome! !

This place has never let me down when I’m looking for a phở fix. They are fast with the food and it’s always served piping hot.

I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years, visiting at least once a week and always ordering the same plate. Spicy beef with curry rice plate. Its spicey and yummy! Clean, nice owners, no wait time to be seated.

My family has been coming to this phở restaurant for YEARS now, this is including my grandma! The owners know us and they’re SO very sweet. It’s definitely a family owned and family run business. They kids and grandkids work here too. Anyway, we never branch too far from our regular rare beef phở. My favorite part is that a regular size is $ 6 and a large is $ 7. That’s cheap! Most phở places now charge $ 8 and up, which I cannot afford for something that I know isn’t worth $ 8. They keep their phở simple and delicious. I like the beef they use, it’s not full of fat. Ask them to steam your sprouts if you like them better that way! Anyway, very nice people with good service. My loyalty is with you forever!

We live near this restaurant, and the google reviews were exceptionally positive – we were looking for a phở place a little closer and perhaps with better service than Mango’s – so we had to come here eventually. Oh God, eventually. We live near here, but we don’t work near here, and the hours pretty much guarantee that while it’s open most days, it will never be dinner for us. Which is kind of sad, because for me and my wife, phở is very much a dinner food. It was *months* before we could make it. I really wish I could say more than«meh.» If you want phở and this is all that’s available, it’ll do just fine. But it was nothing special. It doesn’t stand out in my memory. Unless there’s some pressing reason otherwise, I’ll continue to be a customer of the nearby Phở Pasteur.

Good Phở that’s fast and hot. I used to come here several times a week when I worked nearby. My office is now farther away so I don’t make it as often as I’d like. The waitstaff always knew me and knew my typical order and would confirm it with me as I walked in and bring it within minutes. You don’t get that kind of service at other places. The only reason I didn’t make this a 5 star review is the décor in the restaurant could be improved. It’s a little sterile. This isn’t super important, however, as the food is good.

Standard Vietnamese fare, good food and good service. Great venue for lunch, even on a busy workday.

I’ve tried many phở places before and will continue to do so. But this one is VERY good. I prefer the Phở Ga, and they do it how I like it, LOTSOFCHICKEN! Plus, it’s in chicken broth. Traditional phở has the chicken in the regular beef broth. I know it’s traditional but chicken in the chicken broth just goes better together, in my opinion. The Spring Rolls rolled up in rice paper are good but they didn’t give me quite enough peanut sauce to get me through them. They might have given me more if I had asked for it. Maybe free… it fine so I just passed on asking. They did get me extra lime for my soup when I requested it. The atmosphere is a bit spartan and it is a no-frills place in it’s décor. Everyone seems friendly, the food is good, the prices are reasonable and service is almost always efficient.

To be fair, I am ranking ONLY on the Bubble tea. We were spying on this place after eating at another phở place down the street that didn’t serve bubble tea. So when we were done, we ran down to this one to buy tea. As my stars indicate, I was dissapointed. My mango had all kinds of pulp in it which may have been real fruit, but was a turn off. The thing lacked the bubble tea flavor. We also had a strawberry and a coconut and just about nobody liked them. Maybe we’d come back to try the food. but for now, 2 stars is the best I can do. The place was clean, and several people were ordering take out.

This place was clean! I came here one weekend with my Dad and we got some phở as he recommended the place. No three color drink… I was disappointed and … egg rolls were more than a dollar a piece what the phở?! We ordered two bowls of phở, probably the longest I’ve ever waited for pre-made phở. Pre-made phở? you ask HOWDOYOUKNOW?! … when I got the bowl I put my chop sticks in and swirled it around there was a huge chunk of the phở noodle just stuck in the middle of the bowl. will not return. OK~(vièt accent)

We just wandered in off the streets because we happened to see the place and were craving PHO. Decent little restaurant, but certainly nothing fancy. I had the chicken Phở but also sampled the beef. This place delivered and the Phở hit the spot and killed the craving. We also ordered some egg rolls, but can’t say these were good. These babies were extra greasy. Edible but I would not order them again. Good place if you are in the area but would not make a special trip for it.

A friend wanted to check this place out, and it was just okay to me. The egg rolls were excellent, but the shrimp spring rolls were not what I expected. I didn’t like that the roll was drowned with basil leaves and sprouts. A friend ordered the fried rice with pork and chicken. When the meal came out, the pork looked like chopped ham that came out of a can. IT was digusting, and one of the workers said it was bbq-ed pork. Yeah, I don’t think so. I ordered the pork sandwich, and that was real pork. It was a good sandwich, but they skimped out on the pork. I may have to come back and try the phở, but my overall experience here wasn’t great.

The first ominous sign when we walked in was that there were no Asian customers. A few strolled in later. Most phở places are filled with Asians. I have this rule about ethnic restaurants. If their own people won’t eat there, it can’t be good. The egg rolls were bland and had a wetter than usual texture. The oil used to fry them tasted old. And I didn’t like the way the egg rolls were rolled. Seems like they used less meat but rolled it that way to make it look bigger. The phở was bland, had little beefiness and no depth in flavors. There was no basil and they were stingy with the vegetables. We just got a small plate of veggies. The stir fried diced beef was not diced. It was sliced. The staff was friendly unlike the better phở places. But the service still sucks. My drink went empty several times. They weren’t busy. Definitely the worst Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to so far. Won’t RTE. * For the uninitiated, RTE = Return To Eat
