My garage door was catching on the track and was crooked. After problem solving myself I admittedly made it worse and the door came off track and two rollers fell to the ground. After researching on Unilocal,I went with this company. The service was excellent and had an appointment with 24 hours. Ed was our technician and showed up on time and called 15 minutes before arriving. He was finished in about 30 minutes and fixed all of the problems. He got the door back on track, leveled the door, and adjusted and re-​secured the track to the wall. Ed was polite and efficient. The cost was exactly what was quoted on the phone and relatively cheap compared to other companies. Our garage door now works perfectly and comes with a 90 day guarantee. I never write reviews but I felt this company and Ed deserved one. I highly recommend them!

I recently had 2 overhead garage doors installed by The Overhead door Company. The doors had to be fit into out of square openings, resulting from the garage settling. the technician took is time and did an excellent job. The final out come was far better than I expected.

I used Unilocal reviews to decide to go with Overhead Door Company. They lived up to the positive comments I read. Ed, the technician, arrived right on schedule, quickly diagnosed the problem, offered his solution, answered my questions, offered suggestions on how I can properly lubricate the rollers. He was professional and efficient, getting all this done in 20 minutes. Based on this experience, assuming no surprise breakdowns, I would highly recommend this company.

I came to this company after a different garage company backed out of the job. The other company told me i needed to replace the whole unit for $ 409, failed to show up on time, and when i had the audacity to complain, said forget it, they would just not help me at all. In contrast, Overhead Door came exactly when they said they would, told me it was a 24 dollar part that needed to be replaced, and fixed it within 30 minutes. The tech took the high road and did not say anything bad about the other garage door company, just emphasized the skills and focus on customer satisfaction that Overhead Door Company has and let the work speak for itself. I am more than happy.

I have been giving them my business for years and have always been extremely happy with their customer service and expertise. They replaced the door rollers and opener motor on one house and the complete garage door on another and did a great job both times. Would highy recommend them.

I used these guys to install my first overhead door and have always gotten great service but just want to add that our last service repair guy, Billy, is probably the nicest guy and fastest installer I’ve met. One of my springs broke early in the morning and he was out within a couple of hours to do the repairs. He had the dual springs replaced so fast, about 10 mins I think, he had time to fix up a few other things! I’m really glad he ended up being the service guy when I needed help recently and I’ll request him the next time I have to give them a call.

Before you use this company, I would shop around. Their technicians came out to look at my broken garage door opener. They told me my garage door opener was commercial grade (which was not true according to Liftmaster’s site) and they wanted to charge me more then any other company I called.

My garage door stopped working so after a few Internet searches and some trouble shooting I found what could be the culprit. I checked around for parts places and this one was close to home. I called ahead and they verified the part was in stock and they would have it waiting for me. It was a little difficult to find as it’s tucked away in a row of warehouses but once you get close you can’t miss the signs. Walked in to a small office with a bank teller type window. They were very friendly and helpful, had my part was ready to go. Great experience, no hassles, super easy transaction all the way around. I will definitely return when parts are needed.

I had a great experience with this company. I needed new weatherstripping and a better garage opener. I went to the website, submitted a query and very soon got a reply. The salesman was great about responding to all my questions quickly, and I was able to arrange everything by email. They showed up on the day and time we agreed, and even called ahead to let me know they were coming. The price was the same I would have paid at Home Depot, and I got a better opener. I would recommend and use again.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with. Our garage door opener went out less than one year after it was installed. The technician that came to our house was full of himself. He needed my manual to try to fix it andmwas unable to. He told me we would need a new one and a salesman would have to call. I took a ½ daynoff from work to meet this guy and nothing was fixed. Told the company that I would be unable to take time off for a couple of days, shortly after a tech called and left a message that he would be at my house between 3 and 4. I had to call back remind them no one would be home and ask them to come on a certain day. On the day we agreed upon I called them back as I had not heard from them. They left me on hold for several minutes trying to find out when the tech would be here, finally came back on the phone and said someone would be here and they would call and let me know when. Will not use this company in the future. Was told by our home builder if we didn’t use them it would effect the warranty on our garage door. Have had Sears garage door openers in the past and no problems, live and learn. I gave 1 star as Unilocal makes you choose a star.

I just had a great experience with these folks. I needed a replacement garage door opener, so I called them and they asked a couple questions about the model of the opener and I went to go pick the new opener from them and they were really nice and had it waiting for me. No hassle at all. It also came with instructions as to how to program it (which by the way turned out to be ridiculously easy) but the guy took time to explain it to me anyway.
Only downside is that I think I could have gotten it cheaper if I had looked online and I think a universal opener would have worked but I would have had to pay shipping and wait for it, and since the garage door is an «Overhead Door» brand garage door, I am not 100% sure another would have worked. And truthfully, they were so nice and helpful that I am happy to have given them business.

Awesome company, awesome prompt service, friendly staff, need I say more? Well, yes, I think I will.
My garage door began groaning, bumping and making really scary sounds when opening and closing over the last week or so. I gave it a visual inspection with my untrained eye and saw nothing wrong. Just ignore the sounds, no big deal.
Well, yesterday afternoon, it vibrated with a totally new sound as it slammed to the ground upon closing the door. Uh Oh, better have a professional with a better educated eye check it out. Called OH Door late that afternoon, and they said they could send someone out between 0900 – 1100 this morning. Yuk, that dreaded «window» of time, where one just sits and waits and waits and waits.
@ 0845 this morning Edmond called to say he was on his way, would be here in 15 minutes. And, there he comes, pulling into my driveway.
Woo hoo, I just luv folks who are on time, and even better… early. This is the good news part of my story.
The bad news is that my uneducated eye did not spot a small crack in one of the panels on the door and a loosened hinge. Big tear drops falling here…$ 281 !! However, as one of the benefits of a happy home owner, what else can one do but bite the green bullet and have the panel and other thingamajiges replaced, in order to avoid a falling garage door on my auto or my head.
Edmund goes back to the warehouse, picks up all necessary parts and is back in 30 minutes; 25 minutes later I have a quiet, smooth operating garage door.
The responsiveness and professional friendly attitudes of this organization deserves 10 stars. I have had to call upon them a few times in the past and service has always been the same; exemplary!
Now, I just have to recruit a willing friend to toddle over and assist me in painting this lovely almond colored panel to match the rest of my butternut colored door. I bet a six pack of Miller Lite will do the trick !!
