All Mad Science programs are conducted at your location by highly-​trained professional instructors who make science fun and exciting for children! Each year about 5,000 children participate in a Mad Science program in the DFW metroplex.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I had signed up my 2 girls for the 2015 summer camp in Allen. Paid nearly $ 400 for a week. What I got in return, was an instructor that sat there and texted the whole time. He told the children to play the «quiet game.»
Followed up with Nathaniel Lane as he oversees the program to provide my input and inquire about a refund. To date, I have not received any further communication from him.
This program is a complete and total rip-​off!

Child going to a mad science half day camp… I think its overpriced and value is not that good. My child doesn’t really seem to really get much out of it. Taken at the Flower Mound CAC.
There are so many companies out there that are taking advantage of camp going kids and not providing good value.

I signed my son up for the Mad Science after school program. I had heard great things about the program (it has been at his school for at least a couple years). I don’t know what changed this year, but it was awful. The instructor seemed completely overwhelmed and seemed like he’d never worked with kids before, he was consistently 10 – 20 minutes late which left kids unattended, there was bullying & inappropriate language used by one child in particular (you could hear her screaming all the way down the hall) and when I called I was told by the manager that she would absolutely do something about it and call me back the next day. It took me calling repeatedly a few days later to find out the solution was «we’ll just keep them apart.» Last thing, I swear… We were supposed to have makeup days due to inclement weather and they were not all made up. Kids were supposed to have 2 more sessions and all the kids showed up, but no instructor. The school had to contact Mad Science & parents. I wish our experience had been different because once the instructor finally made it there every Monday & there wasn’t a child screaming and hitting, my son did enjoy the 20 – 30 minutes of actual science. There is just no reason for my 6 year old to come home crying because a kid hit him in the stomach hard enough to leave a mark and the instructor doesn’t say a word and they did nothing.

Everyone had a blast with the mad scientist! Dr. Boom was awesome. Kids loved every minute of the party. Especially, they loved making the slime.

We just hired mad science back in October for our 7 year olds birthday. This was an all girl party and they did a FANATASTIC job with them! Kept the girls involved and kept their interest for the whole show! Very professional and called to confirm the week before and the day before. Had several other moms that were there saying they are using them next! A++

I would highly suggest that you DO NOT use this company. They didn’t show up for my daughter’s birthday party!!! I spoke with them multiple times and their was no mistake on the day or time, and they had my deposit. They have an emergency number to call but it belonged to a 16 year old boy. He had no clue who they were, and yes, I checked the number. I wish I would have read other reviews on them because I’m not alone. We were so excited about them coming and it turned out to be such a huge disappointment.
