InTouch Credit Union

I would not recommend ITCU any more. They used to be fine (years ago), but it ain’t the place it used to be. Go somewhere else. There are better places with better service and better rates. Very disappointed.

There is no negative-​Star rating, hence the single star. I would highly recommend any financial institution ahead of In Touch Credit Union. We only opened an account there because they are on the network with my out of state CU where my car loan is being held hostage. In Touch holds deposits for no discernible reason, btw. Between the holds and not being able to make the payments due to their system being down (oh, and their system is always conveniently down) we finally were overdrawn (yes, I know. That was ultimately my fault.) Not being notified by the CU, however? That is on them. No notification for the first one, second one, or third one. I caught it 10 days later. Needless to say, today I zeroed out and closed the account. They didn’t even ask why. I get that this is how banks make money, but newsflash, this is how credit unions lose members.
I seriously doubt In Touch will stay in business much longer. There were members closing accounts every time I went in there. I should not have ignored the signs.

Worst credit union ever! Avoid like the plague. Not enough time or room to put all the reasons. Here are just a few: Came to drive through to deposit a check. I was the only one there. I sat there for about 7 – 10 minutes, with the car running. The person never said, it will be a few minutes or anything. Just acted like nothing was wrong as I sat there thinking What in the world? Never used drive through again. Next, they often put checks on administrative hold. I’ve never seen such a paranoid credit union. Next, forget completely trying to use their phone app. It crashed every time, so I just got rid of it. No online deposits. A very terrible web interface. Several times, I clicked some of the tabs to see what they were, such as Pop Money. Without my knowledge, these started taking monthly fees out of my account. I had to go in person to stop them. The guy said it would be taken off and he would email me when the refund was applied. I’m still waiting. .. !!! (this was about a year ago). Like I said, that’s just the start. I voted with my feet and closed all accounts. I’ll never set foot in that credit union as long as I live!!!

Don’t use these guys. Asked them requirements prior to credit app. Everything looked great. After application, came back with, «you need a co-​applicant because you never had an auto loan before as a primary account holder». Now you could of mentioned that before you hit my credit history with a Hard Inquiry! By the way my credit score is 760 and debt to income ratio is less than 35%.
Awful place, very inexperienced staff!

This is a great credit union. I’m not a member, but I use this branch to make deposits, as it’s part of the Credit Union Service Centers network. The staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve never had to wait very long to see a teller. If I lived in the area, I’d definitely be a member.
