HSI manufactures FEP heat shrink and fluoropolymer tubing for all fields medical and commercial. The additional uses for FEP tubing can be found in the aerospace, electrical, chemical, optical and automotive fields. Manufacturing focus is placed on product engineering and manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality, i.e. laser gauges and ultrasonics for measuring, a high level of product features, and the most efficient manufacturing processes possible – lean manufacturing and JIT. Heat Shrink Innovations produces a range of .005 to .020″ walls for FEP heat shrink tubing to be used as a mold for custom catheter assemblies and customer extruded tubing.
