It was May 2005 and we lived in a town home. We had a ton to recycle but city waste management services did not provide recycling pickup and disposal for multi-​family properties. This forced us to drive more than 20 miles to drop off our recyclables at a recycling plant. We were angry but motivated. We formed a small group with our neighbors and every Saturday we packed up everyone’s recyclables in the trunk of our little Honda and hauled them all the way to the nearest recycling plant to dispose of them.

Over the past 10 years, our passion has transformed into a business with an ever growing circle of people passionate about changing Texas for the greener good.
