This café needs a good cleaning. Food on the floor, tables not clean, bathroom stinks. Been there several times always dirty. Makes me worry about the cleanliness of kitchen.

Went in with me and a friend, was seated immediately but I’m assuming the server never noticed that we were there because no one came to check with us or take our order. So after 10mins of waiting we ended up leaving. This has always been a fave of mine but after today they lost a customer.

Café Brazil is one of my favorites when in Dallas. Their menu is quite large and covers café-style breakfast, tex mex and traditional. I love their nachos, pancrepes and endless coffee bar with beaucoups of coffees to choose from. Their holiday seasonal specials«S’mores Hot Chocolate» and Holiday Blend Coffee are great. Only downsides to Café Brazil: The dining room is quite loud, all seating is table style(no booths) and service can be hit or miss but what do you expect.

First of all, this employee thought it was a good idea to clean an air vent over some lady eating. That’s incredibly discussing and needs to be done before you open. I’m concerned that that employee probably went back and started fingering someone’s meal after she was finished fingering the air vents. There’s probably only three kids serving a full house mean while all these other dill weed employees are standing behind the coffee bar talking to each other. The only saving point for this location is the food. it was pretty good. This place needs a real manager to kick these kids into shape because the service is pretty horrible.

Been a huge fan for more than 15 years. Always brings back old times. Coffee and food are good. Staff can’t be beat. Thanks

We went to Café Brazil Sunday late morning almost at noon and it was not overly busy so what I am reviewing it completely ridiculous here and shows a lack of care by the servers and staff at this restaurant and we have gone here before with no issues. My girlfriend and I stood at the host/hostess counter for about 5 minutes without a greeting or we will be right with you or anything. All the servers were either talking behind the drink counter or were getting coffee or food in the back but what really irked me was one server in particular who had blonde hair and shaved sides looked at her coworker next to her as they were talking and looked directly at us a few times and then were still talking without even acknowledging us. I will never go back to this location after that complete and utter disregard for service. I would rather go somewhere that wants me as a customer, which I would be happy to give my money to.

Solid four stars. Eaten here a few times and the service is friendly and food is very good. Kids eat free a few nights a week, that was a pleasant surprise. During the week it’s not very busy. On the weekend(especially Sunday) be prepared to wait. The pancakes, omelettes, nachos, burgers, sweet potato fries and the chicken salad sandwich have all been excellent. I even had the honey chipotle fish tacos and they were very flavorful. All the food has been excellent. Bonus they now serve diet Dr Pepper which is my favorite. One complaint is when they are slow on a week night occasionally the service will be delayed. Servers look young and seem to be distracted occasionally. This location is not 24 hours but still keeps pretty late hours. Perfect for a late night bite. You hear they have pretty tasty coffee too.

Even though it was somewhat busy, we got our food fairly quickly and the server was very patient with us! Food is always good. I definitely recommend the loaded cheese fries! You get a lot for $ 6.99, definitely worth it.

I had the spinach crêpe with bacon bits… ah, creamy, flavorful, crunchy, and filling. The flavor was very rich and satisfying. The hash brown casserole wasn’t really all that great for me because it honestly didn’t taste like hash browns. Next time I come in I’ll order it with rosemary house fries. Definitely a place to come for coffee, their Brazilian select is delicious with no creamer or milk. just one sugar and you’re good! The Vienna flavored coffee is also delicious. Best coffee in town!

About Café Brazil: The food is the type I would eat if I had no inhibitions. Highly gluttonous, full of guilt and remorse. I don’t mind it every now and then. Their cheese fries are my guilty pleasure. Coffee is great for the most part and consistent throughout the other metroplex establishments. About this particular Café Brazil: The service is really, really bad. It’s very clear the waiters are hungover from the night before, bearing through the shift for their paycheck. I can deal with the food. However, the service is some of the worst I have experienced in my life on a consistent basis. People slamming silverware on my table, eye rolling, bad attitudes reminiscent of my teenage years, work place gossip, etc. I will purposely drive by this Café Brazil to go to another one, that’s how much I hate this place. This is where hopes and dreams die.

Café Brazil is a mainstay around DFW, and this location hits all the basic requirements. Crowded, local art on the walls, distracted staff and decent food. It may take you a while to get through their massive menu. There are a lot of Hispanic influenced items, as well as a number of(savory) crêpe options. And of course, lots of coffee. Overall, a solid choice with lots of options. Something a little different in Carrollton.

Overall, I really like Café Brazil. I think it’s one of the most under-rated restaurants in the DFW area. The spinach crepes are fantastic and I get them every single time I visit. The food is always on point. But lately, the service at this particular location was very, very bad. The past few times my husband and I visited, service was slow but not particular upsetting to me. We must have come at shift change today, and I haven’t had a more frustrating experience trying to eat in a long time. We waited at least 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and drop menus. They left us there for awhile and I got out the bottle of water I had in my purse because I was thirsty. A table next to us was upset because nobody would give them their check. This was particularly frustrating because there were at least 6 people cleaning or checking their phones or counting money on a table near the counter. One person was ducking behind the coffee bar using his phone. Nobody would acknowledge the customers. Eventually, a waitress came over and asked us if we were ready. We told her that we were ready for awhile but nobody came and she said«it’s shift change, what would you like?» in a very angry tone. At least someone took our order. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out and mine was not correct and was missing some condiments. I managed to find a bottle of ketchup on another table. The cook fixed my order quickly. The silverware was really flimsy and my fork was completely flat and I had to ask for another one(try eating with a completely flat fork!). Our waitress, Mallory, was really nice but she said that she was the only person waiting tables because it was shift change. There were at least 10 tables that she was trying to manage and as a result, lunch was a production for everyone. She said that she had been essentially working for 24 hours straight but that she volunteered for the extra shift. This is really sad that the manager only allots one tired waitress for the entire restaurant. There really should be more overlap in shifts to avoid upsetting regular customers like us. Overall, this place is great. I love the coffee and I wish they had the smore flavor more often. Food is solid, but I would try another location.

Let me preface this with: The food has never steered me wrong! The food here is pretty basic, but at the same time it’s the simple things that are the best. When I say basic they don’t use tons of spices, they take the flavors the food has and somehow elevates the flavor. My favorite part of this place is that I can get my coffee while I’m waiting for my table. I promise I’d leave if that wasn’t the case. Simply because at 10:30 in the morning it’s already been a long day without a cup of joe. Lol who says Joe still. I did. With lots of flavor options and great house blend I give the coffee 5 stars. My only deduction of a star stems from cleanliness. This is a whole in the wall restaurant, nothing special inside to make you have an atmosphere. But if we could get the floor swept and tables wiped down a little better that’d be great! Last but not least, the hostess is a Gem! Come here for a solid breakfast.

I love that you can get breakfast here any time of the day. we wanted a pre workout meal because I was starving and needed some energy. Eggs just sounded good, so we each got an omelet and was it delicious! Café Brazil also has various coffee flavors, and they hit your caffeine crave for sure!

My friends and I came for a bite to eat pretty late at night. They were accommodating of groups, service wasn’t too bad, and the food came out perfectly. French toast with fresh fruit(4⁄5) It was pretty good. The bread was good but I thought the French toast lacked something… It was still good but didn’t have that 2% excellence factor. The fruit was definitely on point. Super fresh and cut well. Everyone who went seemed to enjoy their food. It was overall a restaurant with good food that is great for large groups!

Ew. My crepes literally tasted like a wet dog. First we were told it would be a 15 min wait and had to wait around 40 min to be seated. Not cool when you have a hyper 2 year old. So while we were waiting we had some of the coffee that you can help yourself to. Ew. Also, there were so many grounds in one of my cups that it startled me. The place seemed dirty and just kinda sticky(you know the feeling when you walk into an old Denny’s or something). Not a lot that sounded good on their menu. Every time we drive by this place now, my husband and I talk about what a ‘ewwy’ experience we had. Just not pleasant at all.

This place is meh. I came here on a weekday morning. They had lots of fun coffee flavors to choose from. Unfortunately, they all tasted like water! What’s the point of drinking coffee if you can’t taste the beans? I ordered the country fried steak and it came with eggs, potatoes and toast. My steak was super soggy. The gravy was heavy and bland. The potatoes tasted weird. The toast was stale. I literally made faces at everything I ate and my friends laughed. I did not enjoy my meal except for the side of fruit and a bite of my friend’s pancakes. I’ve had better brunches are IHOP. I’m only giving this place two stars because our server was friendly and I enjoyed the art that hung around the restaurant, into the bathroom and above the urinal. LMAO.

We came here for breakfast this morning because we usually come for lunch or dinner. I was undecided between the Brazilian Veggie breakfast and the Spinach crepes. I decided to get the Spinch crepes breakfast. It comes with Spinch tomatoes and feta cheese and a cream sauce on the crepes that is slightly spicy. This breakfast comes with toast that is homemade bread and rosemary potatoes. This was soooo good that I can’t wait and go back and try it again. My husband had the original breakfast with scrambled eggs bacon and 2 french toast slices. He ate everything(except 1 slice of french toast). I will recommend coming here for breakfast for when you want a twist to the usual breakfast choices.

Tried the el gordo crêpe($ 8.29) which is a spicy savory crêpe filled with ground meat, jalepanoes, cheese, tomatoes, and topped with a spicy sauce. It was supposed to come with chorizo but it looked like ground meat to me. Instead of the rosemary potatoes, I changed the side to fried sweet potatoes(+$ 1.39). Overall, the food is tasty but the dish was pretty spicy and heavy. We opted to sit outside because we didn’t want to wait but this was probably not a good idea because it was pretty hot. They occasionally checked on us but we ended up having to go inside to pay our bill because it took so long for someone to come by. I think they’re popular for their coffee but I didn’t try it. Not bad for brunch but is probably go for something lighter.

This is a nice little restaurant. The location is interesting. Its located on a corner tucked away in a shopping center. If you are facing the restaurant the main door is on the right side. My friend and I both ordered omelets. I chose the Mexican omelet minus the onion and he ordered the veggie omelet and added sausage. We chose to do their coffee bar to try the different selections they had. I went with the pecan bourbon flavor. It was great! Almost a little too sweet but adding milk helped dilute the sweet flavor. Our food came out within 25 minutes of ordering. The restaurant was packed so I was shocked to get it in even that amount of time. It tends to get a bit loud in there especially when there’s a bunch of kids. Overall it’s a good place to grab a quick bite. The food is good, service is average and atmosphere is average. I wouldn’t encourage coming for a business meeting or a date.
