I decided to check this place out cause i loved how you could make your own salad bowl. Their veggies and toppings looked fresh and clean. Except the kale had some weird smell to it which I don’t usually smell when I eat a kale salad. They also have lots of dressings to choose from and you could ask to taste some before you choose(they will give it to you on a piece of bread). The portions are larger than it seems; I wasn’t able to finish mine. Overall it’s a good place to go when you’re looking for a healthier lunch/dinner choice.

Maybe I’ve been to salata too many times but this place I didn’t think was as good. First, the line seemed slow but I didn’t base my review on that. Salata is slow too and unless I can open my own salad joint and serve quicker, I won’t knock stars off for it. I got the southwest zepplin. I think the baguette thing they use is amazing. It’s crunchy and light. The salad. all fresh and eye appealing. When they applied the dressing the salad maker looks at you in a gesture to ask how much do you want. Good move. Salata charges extra for dressing in their small bowls. If there’s two things Texans like it’s gravy and dressing. Don’t skimp out. I also got a cup of broccoli cheese soup. Nothing noteworthy. It was a little cream heavy and lacked cheese and broccoli. Could’ve also used more seasoning. The peach mango tea was really good. Def get it. I would give 3.5 stars if we could give halfs. It wasn’t quite a 4 for me.

This place is amazing! A wide variety of salad options are quickly and efficiently chopped up and served either in a bowl or a hollowed-out oval bread roll. Other options include drinks, cookies, soups, and chips. Prices are reasonable, but watch for the added extras as they can quickly add up but the quality — and variety — is second to none. My go to salad place — truly, salads reinvented!

The name of this delicious joint caught our eye as we left the mall. Sadly, we waited months to visit and thus denied our tastebuds the awesomeness that is Bread Zeppelin. Salads are available in a bowl(boring) or zeppelin style for bread lovers(your salad is stuffed inside a hollowed baguette). There’s a grand variety of ingredients and dressings to choose from bringing joy to even the most selective diners. Words from the wise: you can have a variety of toppings, but zeppelin style means limited quantities of each choice(there’s only so much you can stuff in there! … That’s what she said).

I like the concept, it is really great, but I am just really annoyed of the mini«handfuls» of veggies they put on these salads. Today I paid $ 13 for a salad with avocado and chicken and didn’t even get a full serving size of chicken. I got about four carrot strips, 5 chickpeas, and the littlest bit of crumbled egg. Vegetables do not costing an arm and a leg & every time I come here I am consistently getting smaller than normal portions. Today I basically ate lettuce with an occasional chick pea. As far as taste, I do like the dressings they offer and the food seems to be very fresh. The seasoning of the chicken is just Ok.

This is one of my favorite sandwich shops; although, I realized that it’s technically a «salad» shop– not sandwich. Haha. Anyways, I fell in love with the Zepplin after eating at the Irving/Las Colinas location and was super happy this one opened. I usually get he southwest Zepplin that comes with black beans, avocados, cotija cheese, corn and choice of meat(chicken for me) with avocado ranch & then a side of sriracha. This has always been my go-to sandwich but today I decided to be a rebel and try the metropolitan cobb. It comes with bacon, avocado, egg, bleu cheese and choice of meat(chicken). It’s really refreshing from the southwest! It’s always a show when you order your food because someone will chop it up in front of you. If you come during lunchtime, there will be a wait and parking is hard to find because there’s a lot of places to eat right here. I’ve never had a salad here but they are ginormous. One day, I’ll be even more of a rebel and get a salad.

Came here to have lunch with friends and ordered the Atlantis Salad with lite greek dressing. Salad as too much for me but I couldn’t tell my body no! Will be back! Had a bite of my boyfriends sandwich and it was awesome as well. Would only come here for Salads though. I think that is where they specialize.

Been wondering for a while when a good salad place would turn up and here it is! Its very clean and I feel good just walking in with the simple yet nice décor. The ingredients are very fresh and the zepplins are delicious. Everyone needs to try their soup some time because you can ask for the innards of the bread they take out of the banquette to dip your soup with. The soup itself is also very soothing. The only little quirk I have is that the line does get held up by the employees chopping up the ingredients in front of you. Its fun to watch but it does sometimes create a bottleneck during busy hours of the day.

I agree with just about every positive post on here! It is perfect for what it is(sandwich and salad spot with a variety of fresh options). It is not worth driving 30+ minutes for, but it is an ideal lunch spot where just about anyone can find something he/she wants. Great for on the go too!

God I love this place. Fresh ingredients and delicious bread. I was pretty skeptical about eating a salad stuffed in a roll but man was I wrong! So good. My personal fav is the Shanghai w/Chicken and definitely do get it with the Carrot-Ginger Lime dressing. Once again, my skepticism almost kept me from getting something delicious. With tons of salad places popping up on every corner(including in this area) it can be easy to think«what is gonna be different? It’s just another overpriced salad» but I would argue that this one is averagely priced and worth every penny, and maybe a few more. Pricing is much more in line with places like Subway($ 7 – 10 for a full loaded Salad or sandwich) which is NOT something I can say about Snappy Salads where I have/can easily spend like $ 15 on a salad just for myself.ouch. Tips: You can get the inside(fluffy part) of your bread to snack on if you get the Zeppelin for free. The salads in a bowl are HUGE and totally able to be split into two meals.

Lunch with the wife, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law. This was a first time visit for all of us, however I won’t be reviewing what they ordered today, merely my own. I had a custom Zeppelin, with a mix of spinach and romaine. I added mushrooms, black olives, broccoli, and carrots. My protein for the day was chicken, with some added feta cheese. I finished it off with some Greek Vinaigrette. So the preparation was to chop the salad, cut an end off the mini baguette and core it, then stuff with salad. Essentially a small salad sandwich. I will say I was especially surprised. Everything tasted fresh, the dressing wasn’t too heavy, and the bread tasty /crunchy. The bread didn’t get too mushy as well, but if you waited to long it would probably happen. Overall, I definitely enjoyed and will be coming back. The price is a little prohibitive, but the quality is worth it(No wilted Subway-esque iceberg here).

I made my own zeppelin. I had spinach, mushrooms, artichokes, feta, white cheddar, and grilled chicken with light Caesar dressing. It was amazing! This place has a TON of options. While it is a little on the higher side if you add a protein, it is fresh and is high quality. We will be returning.

Love this place! It’s always clean and service is fast, as long as you know what you want. There’s a lot of options for customization of you salad or bread Zeppelin, a hollowed out baguette filled with your chopped salad. I had a custom Zeppelin and it was big enough for 2 meals for me. Toasty, fresh bread and tasty ingredients! Perfect for lunch!

You wouldn’t think that taking a salad and stuffing it inside a hunk of bread would be all that exciting, but this place is AWESOME. hands down, one of the best. My favorite is the Washington State, even just as a bowl it’s stellar. If you get a zeppelin, you can ask for the inside of your bread and they’ll wrap it up and let you have it — warm and soft. They have a ton of salads to choose from, or you can create your own by just telling them the ingredients you’d like in it — they have so many ingredients, so many options. They have seriously about 20 dressing options to choose from, even low-calorie/light options. My husband and I can go in there for dinner and get out for under $ 20, so it’s a no brainer for us when we want something quick, healthy, and super yummy. I’m super excited that they are opening a location downtown near the west end!

Anytime I’m in carrollton running errands I stop by here to grab a quick lunch. Lemme just say that this place takes eating a boring salad to the next level! I usually stick to a strict low carb diet but how can you pass up salad stuffed inside delicious bread?! I always order the southwest zepplin to keep it simple. The avocado dressing is delicious and the service is very fast! Its fun watching them chop up your salad before they put it in the bread.

GETINMYMOUTH! This place is awesome! Everyone at work talks about how good this place is so I thought that I would try it out. So glad I did! The food is 5 stars all the way! I got the Plymouth Rock without the blue cheese and they allowed me to substitute it out with anything else. The CRUNCHY hollowed out bread that your salad can come in is to die for! So perfectly toasted! Only reason they are getting 4 stars is because the employees are all that friendly. The person who checked me out seemed like they did not want to be at work today. And I understand having a bad day but at least smile and say«have a nice day». Ohhh! And even a jimmy johns employee was eating lunch here! That shows you that their food is great! I will be back to try other zeppelins soon!

The food is 5 stars… The drop for this review is due to the place not closing till 9 however the staff all closing up shop basically. Sorry no soup? Do you only make enough for so much during the day? There are later eaters for dinner and considering closing is over 2 hours away this is quite a disappointment! 6:45pm Sunday Nov 29th Update to review! I came in on Monday Presidents day and the secret is out about this place … It’s yummy goodness whether you decide on the bowl or a stuffed Zeppelin which is basically a blimp sized bread that hollowed out and stuffed with your delicious salad. Try them! You will love them!

The Chipotle of Zeppelins. You can build your own salad and choose to stuff it in a gorgeous roll of hollowed out«crunchy, artisan baguette». They will give you the insides if you ask! ;) The Washington State is to die for. The perfect balance of all textures and flavors. I may venture out and try the caesar zeppelin one day. But for the price and the long lunch lines, I like to stick with what I know and love. Walk in and order at the counter. They will hand you a slip of paper with your order marked on it. As you make your way to the cash register, you can watch the process of toasting the bread, hollowing it, and stuffing it. Enjoy that crunch!

Whoever decided it was a good idea to stuff a loaf of bread with salad is a true foodologist(yes I made that word up). Bread Zeppelin is like a dream come true for me. When you enter there’s probably a line but it usually moves pretty fast. Their menu is on the wall and you get to choose between a salad or a «zeppelin.» After you tell them which salad you want they toast a freash loaf of bread and you follow whichever worker will be chopping your salad to their station. Make sure you ask for the insides of your bread, they are free and warm, and who doesn’t want the soft inside of a fresh baked loaf of bread? They chop your salad up, wrap it up then you head to pay for you food. I tend to go for a classic caesar salad with boiled egg and red pepper flakes in my zeppelin. Their proteins are a little expensive for my taste, but they do give a larger portion compared to Salata. Boiled egg is free so if you’re not big into chicken or steak in your salad this is a good and afforable option. Easy, extremely affordable, and very innovative. –Make sure you get your insides of you bread(as if I haven’t stressed that enough).
