We also work on specialty vehicles such as Mobile Units for Police Personnel, Medical Facilities, Veterinary Grooming Vans, and Banks. Also, corporate display ware, cable splicing units, and radio broadcasting units are included in our vast area of expertise! In other words… we fix EVERYTHING except engines, transmissions and brakes!!!

History

Established in 1996.

Recreational Vehicles (RV) have been around sense the early 1900’s, but if you think further back, pioneer settlers had similar images. Pioneer settlers where known to carry their homes in a wagon as they moved across the prairie from the east coast to the west coast to obtain job opportunities, hope for a better life, stability for their family, & the freedom of the land.

Blue Moon Mobile RV began in 1996 with nothing more then a used pick up truck and a man with determination, and honor. Rodney Simmons (President/​owner) didn’t know that those two qualifications would one day build a mobile RV/​Service center to become the biggest & best service in the entire North Texas region.

We currently have five service trucks that are manned by Certified and Master-​Certified RV Technician which also provide RV repair to all areas of North Central Texas including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Arlington, Denton, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, North Lake, Keller, Grapevine and all outlying cities. Business Owner

Rodney Simmons, President has over 25 years of experience in complete RV repair. He has also accomplished Master Certification with the RVIA-​RVDA. Rodney has been recognized as an expert witness in the State of Texas & Florida. He presently chairs the Education Committee for the Texas Recreational Vehicle Association (TRVA). Rodney frequently speaks at RV parks, RV Shows and RV Conventions on what he has experienced as a technician.
