This is the worst nail place that I have ever gone to in my whole entire life, I had to take off my nails after one week because four of my nails broke (just by tapping them), and I have never had that experience before at other places. If you care about spending your money wisely do NOT go to this place! This place was not cheap either– they nickel and dime you for different shapes and longer lengths.
The two kids age 2&4 (of the nail tech) were running around screaming while they all just laughed. The last straw was when he changed the little ones diaper in the middle of the floor were everyone could see, and then he had the nerve to touch my nails to look at them w/​o even washing his hands! Gross! Not professional at all. Will never go back even if it were free!

Love this place! I took my daughter to get stiletto nails and they NAILED it… and they were having a 15% off services! Our tech was very friendly, the place was nice and relaxing. Lots of parking and great location. Only thing missing? Wine and/​or margaritas :-)

never not ever will i go back. I had shellac on that needed to come off, and asked for a new shellac manicure after that. The lady grabbed the biggest roughest nail file and was super rough — like a cheese grater. My skin all around my nails is all torn up. At one point, I kind of jerked and grimaced to show that it hurt — she acknowledged, apologized, and kept on doing it until my finger started bleeding! Then, she put acetone on there and, of course, that stung horribly.
I could put lots of other details here, but there’s the gist. I’m not going back.

A bit pricey but the guy who did my nails did a very good job. I was very satisfied. I would recommend this place. Calling for an appointment is probably a good idea too it gets crowded although they are quick with getting to you. They also have several different kinds of pedicure options at a reasonable price. I got the solar overlay and it looks great.

Worst nail experience I have ever had. DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD Unilocal REVIEWS. That is precisely what I did and I regret it terribly.
I came in with solar powder nails and they acted as if they had never seen it in their lives. They proceeded to destroy my nails and cuticles getting them off. Manicures are not supposed to be painful, this one was. Do not claim to be a professional nail studio if you can’t do nails.
On top of that, they botched the dip nails and charged me $ 66 for the worst mani/​pedi of my life. Don’t believe the 10% Monday through Wednesday thing either. They told me to my face they weren’t on Unilocal anymore and wouldn’t honor it.

Unbelievable, I set an appt for 630 to get one nail fixed. I did not get to sit at table til 7 and then while she had me soak for 15 mins to get one gel nail off she tended to other people. I am now leaving so disappointed in the fact that the repair that was done left my nail lumpy. When trying to explain to Helen that it was lumpy and not good she told me that is the way it was suppose to be because I am the one that broke it. That it was my fault it read that way. I have never had any problems with my nails being lumpy. This is due to lack of filing. I was recommending this place to my friends but not now. Not ever!

I went here last night. It was almost to closing time. It was peaceful. And the person I had, massaged my legs so well. I was falling asleep because it felt so good. And they have various nail polishes. My toe nails came out so neat. There was no smudges. It’s 22 dollars for a regular pedicure, pretty good for a first timer.

I’ve got mixed feelings about this place.
I went once and got just a manicure and it was great. The polish lasted and they did a great job cleaning up my cuticles.
Second time, not so much. My mom and I went for mani/​pedis. Our pedicures were fine. They did a nice job on those. The guy who did my manicure butchered my cuticles though. They were completely chopped up and painful the next day.
If you go try to get the older man who works there. He did my first manicure.
Prices were really good. Manicure was $ 12 and I think he said the gel was only $ 18– but I could be wrong.

This nail shop is tucked away in a strip center in Carrollton. I ran across it on Unilocal while looking for a place that was open on Sundays. Amazing Nails is… from 12 p.m. — 6p.m. I was in desperate need of a mani/​pedi after completing a house remodel. I got the deluxe spa pedi for $ 30 and the basic mani for $ 12. It was worth it! They are friendly, and took extra time on my feet (which was needed), and the girl giving the mani even corrected a couple of slips that I noticed. She was polite and quiet. I don’t mind talking in a nail salon, but usually am there to relax. So, it was nice that I didn’t feel pressured to keep up a conversation while there. Overall, I was pleased. They definitely used sanitized tools for each client, and I watched them clean and sanitize the pedicure bowls while there. I will be going back.

After moving to Addison from Richardson, I’ve been hard pressed to find a nail salon that I like. The search is over. I walked into Amazing Nails on a Saturday afternoon, got sat right away and had a very good experience getting the Deluxe pedicure and a gel manicure. They are thorough with the cuticle cutters and I love it! They were also not stingy on the pumice for my calluses (I run, so they build up). I found the prices reasonable for the quality.
I highly recommend this place!

Searched Unilocal for a good nail place after I moved to the area. I’m a broke college kid, so I didn’t want anything too expensive. My goal was to find a place to do gel French tips. Here, it cost $ 35 and looks fabulous!
The environment was relaxed and they didn’t make you feel like you had to talk (which is good for us shy folk). Yet, the people were still warm. I don’t remember their names, but one woman started my manicure and a man ended it. Both were pleasant. I made an appointment, but they made it seem as though people usually had pretty good luck as walk-​ins.
Overall, I enjoyed this experience. I will definitely be returning.

First — they are open on Sundays! I did not realize how many salons are closed Sunday. Drove and drove and wound up here, and I’m happy. They aren’t the speediest of places, but I love love love how the girl did my nails. At times, she seemed bothered by it which irked me, but I may be taking her sighs wrong.
The guy who did my pedicure was new. I must say it was a little awkward telling him to massage my feet harder when I repeatedly had to say «harder».
Awkward.
I will definitely be back.
