First appointment was fine and he fixed my ingrown toenail. The next part is where he got the 2 star rating. On my other foot was what ended up being a simple yeast type infection that was cured by a dermatologist by recommending a Domeboro foot soak.
Dr Myer issued three oral prescriptions and a couple of ointments which did nothing. On the second follow up visit he was late to the appointment and did not even have my appointment. He thought I got the wrong day until I showed my appointment card. Interrupted our session by taking a phone call from another doctor. Did not have my records and guessed at what he might have recommended. Took a swab culture for the lab of which I never got the results. Find another podiatrist.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I made an appointment with Dr. Rick Miller for 1pm with during a weekday and when I arrived, I was told there would be about an hour wait. As I was signing in, I noticed on the sign-​in sheet that there were four other people that had been booked for the same 1pm time slot as mine. They apparently overbook appointments which causes patients to have to wait at least an hour or more.
I told the receptionist that I was on my lunch hour and could not wait for one hour before seeing the doctor. She was very arrogant and rude and said that maybe I should go somewhere else. I could not believe they would have someone with her attitude problem dealing with the public. I left and found another podiatrist to go to and was seen at the scheduled time.

I did not find our what kind of doctors were in this office. After a few minutes on the telephone with a rude receptionist, I decided this was not the place for me. I had no problem finding a pleasant office to visit for the problem with my foot.

Answered all my questions. Seemed informed and intelligent. Am going back to him this tuesday for my free follow up. Was an ingrown toenail but that seemed like an understatement to me, more like a tumor. Not sure if its completely gone for good yet or not seems to be a very minor recurrence but I could be wrong. Overall I will come here again for any foot needs and would recommend to anyone else also.

Stay away from this place… The front end manager is just rude… no personality! Changed doctors because I wanted a second opinion. This doctor was way off on the problem with my foot… I called to get copies of my xrays. manager said NO! Called again told her it I needed them. showed up to pick up my copies… they only released my notes… not my xrays! Called again manager (sandy) said ill call you back… a week later no call! I finally called up there and talked to her to see what was taking to long.” our machine is old and she cant copy my xrays” Seems like she didnt wanna give me a copy. WELL IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE CRAP GO THIS WAY. IF YOU DONT STAY AWAY!

This doctor did what five other podiatrists could not do, he figured out the problem with my foot and corrected it. After two years of pain, it is finally over. Not only is he smart, but he is the nicest guy you could hope to meet, not condescending like some are, answers any questions you have. Please let me suggest you go to him first before going to any others; I sure regret that I didn’t.

If you are looking for a podiatrist in Carrollton, Dr. Miller is your man! the office is conveniently located next to Radiant Spa, so you can schedule your wax/​threading appointment right before your feet get looked at. Don’t forget to celebrate getting both of those chores done by getting a bubble tea at Fruitealicious when you are finished! This is my routine when I come here!
I had a Morten’s neuroma in my right foot that was causing crippling pain. I had my initial Morten’s neuroma tumor removed about 14 years ago, but the pain around the surviving nerves created another one (they call these replacement tumors ‘phantom neuromas,’ but they are quite real). It was killing me, so I went to see Dr. Miller.
The treatment for these lovelies has changed substantially over the past decade. Instead of digging into my foot to remove it, Dr. Miller did a series of shots to deaden the inflamed nerves. I had to get this done for 8 weeks. The shot (directly into the nerve in your foot) hurt like a mutha, but only for a second or two before it was numbed for the next 24 hours. During the numbing, the healing began. It was less painful with every shot.
The good news – the crippling pain is gone, and should be forever. Hooray! The bad news, my exercise routine needs to begin again and I’ve gotten used to be a lazy woman.
