History

Established in 1996.

N.J.W. Construction Inc. is a residential construction company, specializing in custom homes, remodeling, renovation and additions. We are located at 4193 Crumley Rd. Lancaster, Ohio 43 130, We can also be found on the web at; www​.njw​con​struc​tion​.com which was currently updated to give prospective clients an idea of our quality workmanship with a complete portfolio of previous jobs done and current projects under construction. The doors of N.J.W. Construction Inc. opened in 1996 and were run with a 3-​man crew for the first year building speculative homes. During this time Joel was also working for Carter Lumber Companies and eventually gave up his position with Carter to incorporate N.J.W.

We have 7 full time employees, 4 working in the construction field and 2 overseeing the daily operations of the company within the office.

In 2007 N.J.W. began a snow plowing service to residential homeowners and commercial properties;

Business Owner

N. Joel Walter of N.J.W. Construction Inc. has been building and remodeling homes in the greater Central Ohio area since 1996. N.J.W. specializes in residential construction, remodeling and restoration.

As the owner of N.J.W. Construction N. Joel Walter is actively involved with every project and oversees all aspects of the construction phase. Joel is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor in international business and business management. Mr. Walter has worked in all facets of the construction business; he also worked in retail sales and managed a lumber company for 10 years, during this time he was involved in contractor sales, home estimates and kitchen and bath design. On January 26, 2006 Joel Walter achieved the prestigious Certified Remodeler status.

A Certified Remodeler (CR) designation proves the remodeling contractor’s superior knowledge, technical comprehension and skill in remodeling. Joel commented on being a certified remodeler and what it will do
