The Flowjo is truly one of a kind, a safe space to explore movement without judgement. This is one of the places that really gives Carrboro that sense of community, and I guarantee you’ll leave smiling after one of their classes or workshops! I’ve taken the hooping classes with Julia and she is always welcoming, patient, and encouraging. For me, it’s been great stress relief and a lot of fun.
Check out their website because they have a variety of classes and different workshops for both children and adults. If you see something that interests you, don’t hesitate, give it a go!

The FlowJo is as incredible as it sounds, and not at all intimidating to newcomers. There is something for everyone here. I highly recommend taking a class or dropping by to dance when it’s open to the community. It’s a wonderful place for play and inspiration. ENJOY!

Scott and Julia have created a magical wonderful space for the artistic and creative community to come together and celebrate.
It is truly unique and a must visit for anyone coming to this area.
Do some yoga at Open Heart, eat at Vimala’s Curryblossom, and celebrate life at the FlowJo.
