History

Established in 1970.

Care Dog Training grew out of our desire to give a high-​quality education for both dog and owner. By respecting the potential of both the owner and the dog, and by breaking the training into logical, incremental and achievable steps, the programs at Care have evolved over 4 decades of continuing education and experience.

Care Dog Training has been the starting point for a number of successful professional dog trainers around the country as well as hundreds of successful obedience and event competitors. There is a wealth of professional experience and a solid, veterinary recommended reputation at Care Dog Training.

Business Owner

Established in 1970

Director of Training, Mary Mazzeri, is a highly respected, veteran instructor/​exhibitor. She is a founder of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and endorsed by the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors (NADOI). She is certified by IACP as an advanced Dog Trainer & Instructor. Mary holds a B. A. in Education. The talented, friendly Care Dog Training staff has well over one hundred years of combined experience in training puppies and adult dogs, pet and show dogs, competition dogs, and in correcting problem behaviors.

Mary serves on the Advisory Panel of the IACP. This highly-​experienced professional provides training advice to other professional trainers around the globe whose client’s dogs are out of control, are aggressive, or have other problem behaviors. She also serves on the IACP Education committee and is an evaluator for IACP Trainer Certification. Mary was named «IACP Member of the Year in 2010».
