Rockin Jump Carol Stream

Woah this place has gone downhill since it was xtreme trampoline. You can literally see where they cut corners. In the hour we’ve been here I’ve seen three crashes where unsupervised children have knocked over or flat out run down toddlers. There is very little control anywhere. One half awake teenager watching the foam pit where a kid just did a backflip, missed the pit and landed on his face and neck. He laid there for a good 15 seconds before the employee decided to check on him.
Only one teenager watching the 4 kids on the climbing wall. Nobody is enforcing any rules.
As I’m writing this a teenage jumper just came into the 6 years and under area, knocked over one kid and kicked a 2 year old in the face. No employees to be found. Another parent went to go find one while I watch the area. I’m lucky I am here with my wife who can keep an eye on our kid while I talked to an employee myself, unfortunately the teenager employee we found just told us to let the rule breaking teenagers do whatever they want, they will be gone soon enough and we won’t have to worry then. Wow.
They always had a video you had to watch before entering telling about the rules and proper safety. It’s still looks like it’s playing but not a single person has had to watch it so far today.
Verdict: Quite dangerous but fun as long as you have kids that are old enough to fight for themselves, as the new owners sure won’t protect anyone. It really sucks the fun out of things seeing so many injured and crying children.

We simply loved it. My daughter has lot of fun and wonderful birthday party. The party host was very nice and helpful. The whole premise is very clean and energetic.

My son has had his last two birthday parties at Rock n Jump. Service was great, kids had a great time, very reasonable in price when compared to similar venues. Even the pizza was pretty good.

Held a birthday party for my 8 year old daughter here, 5÷1÷16. Our party host was Jake, he was great! Much better service than I was expecting and he was very attentive which was a huge plus! I wasn’t expecting much as you’re on your own at most places, or subjected to your host’s agenda but was pleasantly surprised here. We may have just been lucky with the right host, and a good person booking our party and following up with all the details. Even so, the rock-​wall climbing, trampoline jumping, X-​beams, etc., were a blast for the kids who truly enjoyed their 2 full hours of fun! Thanks Rockin’ Jump!

Went for a party. Petite blonde at the desk COMPLETELY rude. Asked about a party, to which I got «did u register» I asked again about the party to which I was sent away to register then came back and asked again to which she said «go in there and ask them» so I went through the door and asked 2 other people who said there was no party by that name. Uh… ok. I called the party host who said it was at 7, so I sat in the car (was told they don’t like people hanging around waiting) until then, then went back in to the rude blonde, and finally found the party
The kids loved the place and the action but my god if you don’t like your job then quit! So rude. Nothing like making a party memorable for all the wrong reasons. Will NEVER be going back either alone or for a party. Plenty of other trampoline places who don’t have staff with attitudes

I love their concept! It is a great way to burn calories, without even knowing that your burning them. The employees are usually pretty nice. There are a couple of regulars that think that they run the place though. They get to cut the line for dodgeball, and can be kinda rude by hogging more than 1 trampoline.

This place was lots of fun and my kids very much enjoyed the experience. Even the adults had a blast on the trampolines and the foam pit. It was a very cold Chicago day and the place was pretty full, but there were plenty of options to chose from.
The only negative I have, and this is a personal pet peeve. There was no changing table in the men’s restroom. They had a sign directing you to the women’s restroom. Luckily my wife was with me, if not was I to change my daughter on the floor? Or just enter the women’s room? Please in this day, can we have one for the Dads as well who want to take care of their children as well!

Went here with 5 year old son, not expecting much. I have to say it was a lot of fun and I was impressed with the facility.
They have a trampoline area for 6 & under only which was nice for my son when a group of big kids showed up. There were two trampoline areas open to everyone that were 3×6 I think. There was a small basketball area, 1 big hoop 1 little one.
There was a jousting area, a foam pit area and a sitting area for adults with several TV’s. There was also rock climbing for an extra charge.
Overall great place, with a smaller kid I would recommend going early when there are fewer people.
Oh how could I forget the dodgeball area, what a blast.

My daughter REALLY wanted to have her birthday party here! I’ve only been once before but she’s been there a few times with the babysitter. Booking her birthday party online was hassle-​free. They called a few days in advance to confirm everything. I had some last minute changes that went smoothly. Arrival was hassle-​free also and our party hostess was wonderful.
Then…the kids started jumping. Within the first few minutes, the kids were in line for dodge ball. Out came a young kid (not in our party, thank goodness), who was bleeding profusely from his nose apparently from getting hit in the face by a ball. The employees simply gave him a towel. Several adults in our party are health care professionals who promptly told him to lean forward and pinch his nose but the blood was still pouring from his nostrils onto his shirt and the floor. A few minutes passed until his mom came over and led him to a nearby table. An employee then cleaned up the bloody mess WITHOUT ANY GLOVES ON! We told him that wasn’t a good idea, obviously. Are the young kids working in this place properly trained in cleaning up bodily fluids, especially blood?! An hour nearly passed and the bloody towels that were used by this kid were still sitting on the bench and streaks of blood are visible on the seat and table he was at. Any curious kid could have gone over to these bloody rags. When I brought it to someone’s attention, the employee who was given the task of cleaning up this mess (with the advice to use gloves this time) used the «spray» and the lesser bloody towel of the bunch to wipe up the remaining blood streaks. Unacceptable.
Communicable diseases are a real health concern, regardless if it comes from a child. These employees either are not properly trained or the employees disregarded the training. Either way, it’s not acceptable.

We had my son’s 9^th birthday party there it was during their grand reopening I was a little skeptical thinking it would be so crowded but actually it was way fun there was face painting and they gave free stuff away and had a DJ my son had the best time and his friends too everybody was really great there and very friendly would definitely recommend having your your childs party there!

My daughter had a birthday party here today and I was really impressed with this place. I haven’t written a review in a while but it was good enough that I had to mention it.
I think this is one of the places that is really above board in a lot of respects. I chatted with one of the owners for a while and found out a lot of things that made me feel like these guys are in this for long haul. One item in particular is that they have redundant mats on all of their trampolines, so if the primary one breaks, you won’t fall through the floor.
Overall, the supervision by employees was right on, they were polite when the explained the rules to my daughter when her and a friend were jumping on the same trampoline at the same time. The supervisors are mostly high schoolers m, but that’s about all you’d expect at a place like this.
On a Saturday here it was very busy but it wasn’t overly crowded. There we a few reasonable lines for some activities, but the trampolines were always available.
It would be a nice if they had a little more supervision about kids entering and leaving the place, especially for birthday parties.

I’d like to first mention that we were there on their «grand re-​opening» night. Needless to say, it was busy, but not as overwhelming as I thought it would be. This particular night, they had pizza, cake, prizes, live DJ, etc. The jumping & socks were both free…(rock wall and laser game — all free too) just had to come in the door and stand in line. They gave the kids a bracelet and let them loose :) Once their time was up, all they had to do was go and stand in line again, get checked in & get another bracelet ;) They did not limit the kids to how long they could be there or how many bracelets they could get, which was extremely nice! I thought they did it very fairly, so that any new jumpers got a turn to get in if it got overwhelmingly busy. My kids (9, 8, & 4) had a great time and left with 5 (maybe 6?) bracelets around their wrists :)
The place was clean. They rotated the staff to different areas. They had staff cleaning up after the people who couldn’t bother to find a garbage can to throw their own trash away…
We were at a Sky Zone not too long ago, and I really like how this one was set up much better. Having the different ages, this place was easier for me to check up on all three and not lose track of them so easily. It seems a bit smaller, but it could just be the way it is set up that I was not running all over the place :)
I think that it was around 9:30, they went dark and turned on the «disco» lights. Fun for the kids — not for mom… hard to find and keep track of the kiddos. They did give out glow stick necklaces too — best thing ever for the 4yo! :)
A few things that could be improved upon —
Happier employees — a few fit the bill, but one young man inparticular (I feel old for just saying that…) just had a scowl on his face for most of the night. He did get a bit better as the night went on.
The DJ was too loud. For the time that was spent there, my head was pounding when we left. You couldn’t have a conversation. They put the DJ right in the middle of all the attractions, so there was no avoiding it unless you left the trampoline platform. There were quite a few little ones too, so imagine having your ears at the same height as a huge speaker and walking right by it.
More than once, my kids were waiting in line and were at the front of the line, only to have their wristband color be called that their jump time is over. They were then kicked out of the line. (dodgeball, which had a pretty decent wait time & basketball) Try explaining that to a 4 year old. Now it wasn’t a huge deal since all they had to do was wait in line again to get a new wristband. If I were a paying customer, I would be kind of upset. They could let the child have one last «hurrah» before leaving. The staff would know if that kid was already in line — just be observant.
The gladiator style pit & the weapons used to whack the opponent… would have loved to see those suckers get sprayed and disinfected while we were there. You have a bunch of sweaty kids & adults. You see them get whacked on the head or in the face… I saw the weapons with moisture on them more than once while passing by. Kind of grossed me out. It wouldn’t hurt to have an employee spray/​wipe them down every half hour or so and disinfect them to keep germs down.
My biggest complaint is the «free-​style» trampoline area. There were guys there doing great tricks/​flips/​spins/​etc. They were fun to watch, but very dangerous. For the majority of the night, they were trying to occupy the first row of trampolines. They were pretty respectful of people entering and exiting the jump area, but there were also quite a few close calls. Little kids didn’t know any better to not go in front of them. My daughter was just jumping in her square and almost got ran into by one of them. Once you’re in motion, you can’t stop — I don’t care how well your body control is. I am amazed that there were no collisions. (that I saw, at least) There were a few close calls though. It would have been so easy for one of the employees to have these guys move to the last row/​set of trampolines towards the back and have their fun there. Everyone else could have shuffled over and occupied the rest of the space and these guys would have had no one next to them on the one side and less people to worry about colliding with.
All in all, we will go back again someday :) I think that it’s worth a shot at least one time to see for yourself.

Nice big place to have a birthday party for active kids and teens. Like it! Recommend this place.

Came for a child bday party via a groupon and they surprised me with what they had to offer. Wall climbing, trampolines all over in divided areas, trampoline dodge ball, trampoline with a ball pit, and a sort of gladiator battle pit (like gladiator the show). The only knock is no food served only a vending machine. If you want food you’ll have to book a party which is a shame cause with all these kids running around they will get hungry and thirsty. Seems like they’re missing out on some potential revenue there and it would be convenient to have something similar like around bowling alley. None the less, kids enjoyed themselves and the grown ups were feeling jealous. Might go back without the kids to have fun

Clean, spacious. All equipment in good repair and all appropriate safety precautions in place. Staff is vigilant looking after young ones. If you want to tire out your family. Look no further. Would Def come again. Look at Goupon for significant disounts.

It’d be nice if the staff actually smiled, or even payed attention to the kids… probably won’t return.

Much better than when it was extreme trampoline!!! I hated those obnoxious ass teenie boppers in that place!!! This place is very nice and accomodating. The kids they have working here are very nice and they’re also very helpful!!! My kids loved the rock climbing here even the adults participated in rock climbing & dodge ball. Great family fun center, we’ll be back!!!

Well first of all it was really fun! One complaint I have was that there was a hole in one of the trampolines which I thought was pretty unsafe. That is the only complain I have so look where you are jumping. Other than that me and my family enjoyed it.

Had a blast here! Came here with my wife since we’re both just large kids at hearts. Felt a little crazy at first since it seemed like we were the only adults here without kids with us. But we broke the nervousness and started jumping around anyway. Omg, I can’t believe how much fun we had and it was a good workout!
I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish they had more activities. They got dodgeball which was cool & a battle arena where you can try to knock each other off but it would be awesome if they had like basketball rims or something. Still fun though, I can see myself coming back soon.
