Pride Car Wash

This was their last chance. Didn’t come clean the first time through. They let me though again. Very nice guy. But bird poop still on car hood. $ 9.

i come here a lot, but today i had a whole new experience. i put in a ten dollar bill, for the five dollar wash. i received two dollars in change, instead of five. the attendant told me i had to go over to the bp gas station (he pointed off in the distance) to get my additional three dollars. wth??? so i drove over, stood in line, and my car was then boxed in, as half of the blacktop at the station was closed off with ropes. waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much trouble for what should have been an easy car wash.

I took my 2014 Camry through and noticed that not only were the sides not terribly clean, but scratches in the finish of the trunk that were not there before. For the price you pay, you’d be much better off just washing your car yourself at home and hand applying any wax and Rain-​X.
Steer clear of this place as they’ll try and tell you that it wasn’t their machine that caused scratches to your car.

For $ 5 I’ve gotten much better car washes! Most for $ 3!
I’ll list, for easy review, the cons of this wash:
1-​The pay system. You must scan your card prior to selecting the wash you would like. This is a con because should the machine not scan your card (which has happened to another driver on 2 of my 3 visits!) you are stuck there with no way to leave the lane, forcing others to wait.
2-​As your precious car/​truck rolls into the wheel grooves you cannot feel the lock in like other car washes. As you roll through the wash more than several times my car was shaking from side to side more than I would like it to.
3-​The equipment to wash your car is not good at all! After going through the was the entire front of my grill and tail light area was just as dirty as when I drove into the wash! Left over soap ran from spots that obviously get water to them but because the pressure is so poor it doesn’t wash it off all the way.
4-​On top of all of that when I pulled out my front license plate was bent badly inward on both outsides!
This car wash may be a fan to some but if you treasure your car I would drive elsewhere! Not worth the $ 5 and certainly not worth a dime more!

This is a great little out of the way wash — the cool thing is that unless you know it’s there you might not even notice it. $ 5 for a basic wash and it’s never crowded.
