Orchestra 33 Entertainment

My son just got married last Friday night. Orchestra 33 is the best band out there. We’ve been to many weddings and they are great. The singers are phenomenal, they know every genre of music. The bandleader is great. I cannot say enough about them. All are guests commented on the music… they played during the ceremony, cocktail hour and the event. There were 10 pieces. They are the way to go. My son and daughter in law were impressed when they heard them and hired them on the spot. Don’t hesitate. Hire this band, you won’t be sorry.

We had them for our wedding last weekend and they went above and beyond expectations. The band was so easy to work with and the sound was incredible! If we had all the money in the world to do it again, we would definitely select orchestra 33! Highly recommend!
There was a couple strings for the ceremony, then a jazz quartet during cocktail hour, then 10 piece for the reception. Everyone left talking about how great the band was, even the 2 year old that was crying because it was over. Thanks much Orchestra 33!

I can’t believe I’m only the second review on this site! Orchestra 33 played at our wedding last summer and it was as fun as we could have hoped. The band came highly recommended by friends who had seen them at other weddings and we booked them without seeing them perform live. What a great decision.
We provided a few «do» and «don’t» play selections, but took the bandleader’s suggestion to not dictate a play list. That worked so well, as they were able to gauge the room and take the tempo up and down at the right moments. They also brought some comedy to the evening and really got people on their feet. Everyone that attended our wedding said the band really made the reception.

Bandleader Dave Farley and Orchestra 33 are absolutely fabulous. I hired them for my wedding ceremony and reception on October 2 and they were the hit of the night. I HIGHLY recommend them.
Dave responded promptly to my initial inquiry last winter. Over the course of the year we exchanged emails and phone calls. He sent me a detailed questionnaire which was a huge help in planning the timeline for the evening.
They provided a string quartet for my ceremony, jazz during cocktails, piano during dinner, and a 9-​piece band during the reception. This amount and quality of entertainment doesn’t come cheap, but it’s worth every penny.
Definitely go to their website. They have song clips available that illustrate just how dead-​on their sound is. I hired them because they can do La Bouche, Katy Perry, The Supremes, Sam Cooke, and Beyonce without batting an eye.
The band was happy to learn the obscure song we chose for our first dance. They also gave us some beautiful suggestions for ceremony music (courtesy of Dave’s classical music specialist, aka his wife! so cute).
Many guests have said the highlight of the night was when a singer from the band came out onto the packed dance floor during «Shout!» This band knows how to gage a crowd and have fun while keeping the evening flowing smoothly. They graciously accepted a couple of last minute changes and even allowed us to pump iPod music through their speakers after the set was done so we could all sway to «American Pie» while they packed up.
Orchestra 33 provides first class entertainment that will make any event fun and memorable. They were the single best decision I made while planning my wedding (besides saying yes to my husband of course).
