By far the worst auto mechanics ever. The changed out a water pump. Within a week, there were several ignition issues that came up. We brought it back, and were told it needed new spark plugs, wires and ignition coils. They mentioned that the throttle body should be replaced too. Finally they installed the wires and plugs but said a new ignition coil didn’t solve the problem so they returned it to the vendor. Out the door we went after they charged $ 400 for plugs and wires, with the car running just as it had when we brought it there We took it to someone else who found that the coils had been broken during their attempt to repair and were arcing, the spark plugs they used were not spec’d for the car either, THEY chose a cheaper brand. To add insult to injury, after the car was repaired by another mechanic, I returned and informed them (my mistake) that we intended to file complaints with BAR, BBB and the Cal Bureau of Consumer Affairs, to which the owner reacted by threatening me with bodily injury if I didn’t leave the premises. He gestured as if he was about to assault me, with his fist very close to my face, following me, but less than a foot behind. They do a fine job on their own American made 60’s era Hot Rods, but are clueless about anything else.

Wow who threw the life preserver to me??? I’m so blessed to have gone to automotive USA after the horrible experience I had at future Ford in Sacramento California .I took my 2001 Ford F-​150 and met with Mike one of the co-​owners of the company who looked over my truck and warned me about my transmission, my idle arm, and air-​conditioning and a few other miscellaneous things that Future Ford of Sacramento neglected to tell me. I can write a novel about how grateful I am for this company Automotive USA, for now, thank you for all your knowledgeable help and I’ll definitely continue to tell everyone how great you are thanks Mike and thank you Rob!

We took my father in laws 1999 Dodge Ram pickup to the team at Automotive USA because it kept stalling for no reason. The team at Automotive USA not only diagnosed the issue they also performed the repair.

I’ve known Rob for a long time through martial arts, he is a good guy, who you can trust. His techs are great guys too. You can expect honest, top quality work here, at a very competitive price. It seems like a standard thing for most shops to charge too much, and also to suggest extra work that isn’t needed. Never that here. Expect truthfull assesments that are designed to keep you and your family safe while still respecting any budget limitations you may have. If you want to go somewhere where you don’t have to be constantly on edge waiting to catch someone in a lie, or to defend against unnecessary suggestions for repairs you «need», go here and don’t worry about a thing. By the same token, if he suggests a repair you weren’t expecting, he isn’t pulling your leg. Straight shooters who are pleasant to talk to are what you will find here. Don’t risk messing around elsewhere.

My regular michanic near my house recomended Automative USA to replace my catalytic converter in my 2000 CR-​V. They did a good job, quick and easy for $ 300.

I rarely take time to write reviews, but it’s well deserved here. I was stranded last Friday in North Highlands with an expensive and near-​new tire going flat overnight 2 days in a row for no apparent reason, and a non-​functional AC in 100 degree temperatures — when here to visit my 97 year old mom and drive her to various appointments. My 2004 VW Touareg had been regularly serviced, so these problems were a mystery. I tried to locate a garage that could handle both problems, and do so quickly, in the early morning. I ran into a wall of frustrating responses (can’t do both repairs or can’t do them until the next week), until I spoke to Automotive USA. At 8:00 AM they told me they were busy, but to come quickly and they’d try to make both repairs. I did, and was met with courteous attention while other repairs were set aside to assist me. In 90 minutes both problems were carefully diagnosed and repaired, and I was on my way. I’m a car nut, so I could see how efficient and effective the work was. And the cost was very reasonable. These guys are really good!

Took my 1993 Toyota Camry there (258K) after failing smog and they diagnosed and worked with me over multiple visits and phone calls to repair the issue and get it to pass.
At the very end of the «Smog Test Wars of 2014» (4 failures), Mike called the smog technician that failed my car for supposedly having incorrect timing and politely spoke to him in «car guy» terms that he was WRONG and my car was timed perfectly.
Great service from this shop. Mike and Robert run a solid business!

I have took 2 different cars to this business, first time was at Mufflers USA in Rancho Cordova 8 years ago. Very satisfied with my experience at this shop. I can’t say enough about Robert and Mike’s honesty and fair pricing. As a young woman with limited knowledge of cars, I always feel safe taking my car to Automotive USA and don’t ever worry that I’m going to get ripped off. Robert has always worked to help me keep my repair costs as low as possible and he’s a nice guy! Very personable.
Support this garage if you believe in showing support for small businesses. This is the only shop that I’ve been to with mechanics that are able to diagnose your car on the spot, do honest work and have you leaving satisfied. Their lot is packed with cars for a reason. This business is the epitome of customer service and trust.

I didn’t get work done but if I did, I would probably take it here! Didn’t get the name but very helpful and didn’t charge me to check out if my car had any issues due to an aborted smog test, says all is fine. Even went out of his way to call a smog test nearby to see if they were available. And I passed ;) That’s great service ;)

I have a 2007 Toyota Camry, and have always gone to the Toyota dealership for my scheduled warranty maintenance, boy can they be expensive and very impersonal! Recently, I took my car to Mike at Automotive USA, and had my scheduled maintenance work done there. What a breath of fresh air! Mike explained everything he was going to do, and did it quickly and efficiently. This is a really nice, clean shop, they even have a comfortable waiting room with TV, yummy coffees, and stuff for the kids to keep busy. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants good work at a reasonable price and excellent customer service!

I’m not really the greatest customer when it comes to auto repair. I’ve been jacked by too many places. At Automotive USA, both Robert and Mike were honest and knowledgable. They took care of me from start to finish. More importantly, these guys know how to treat there customers. I won’t go anywhere else from this point on and I’m coming from Elk Grove but it’s worth it. Oh and free wifi, video games for the kids, GREAT COFFEE and just plain fair and honest business.
