I had surgery here in Oct. 2015. I had PRK, which takes a longer amount of time to heal, but the outcome is fantastic! I feel like I was very prepared for surgery and what to expect. I had an extremely high rx, so I was on the border of being able to have surgery. I guess they turn away some people because the surgeon is conservative and doesn’t want to put you at risk for complications. He has a good bedside manner and walked me through everything that he was doing. The rest of the staff are friendly and treated me like family. I would highly recommend them to anyone! My husband also had surgery here, and is extremely pleased with his results as well.

I had PRK LASIK surgery to both eyes, at one month out from surgery I am pleased to say my vision is now ²⁰⁄₁₅ (better than ²⁰⁄₂₀)! Very professional and they always take the time to make you feel important and personal. Only ‘con’ I have is that they didn’t tell me to expect 3 weeks of blurry eyes before I woke up one day to perfect ²⁰⁄₁₅ vision. After the three weeks of blurry vision though– I am feeling great and glad I did it. Will recommend to anyone and everyone!

Got the surgery over a year ago. Haven’t had an issue yey, seeing ²⁰⁄₁₀ according to my last check up! So nice not wearing glasses anymore! Definitely recommend it to everyone.

Worst mistake of my life was trusting LVI with my vision. The day of the appointment I literally waited 15 hours on a Saturday for my surgery because they schedule everybody in a month on the same day. But the wait wasn’t even the part of the experience that upset me. I had a terrible outcome that the doctor refused to acknowledge came from my surgery. I ended up spending of thousands of dollars to try and fix my issue and a year later it is still not resolved. Do yourself a favor and google your doctor before getting surgery. If he has multiple lawsuits against him like mine did, maybe go see a different doctor.

Still a visit that makes me cringe everytime i must return for follow ups. The front desk employees are still never friendly and ive been waiting 15 minutes for an appointment. Coming here is almost as frustrating as waiting at the bmv.

If you looking for a pampered, spa like lasik experience, this is not the place. Yes the are fast pace, and have a lot of patients coming and going so it can seem a bit disorganized. However, I felt that they took the time to make sure my questions were answered, took care of my needs and my surgery went very smoothly.
They do seem to ‘rush’ you which might not be for everyone, but this was perfect for me since I needed to get my procedure done quickly and done correctly.
I went with the Groupon which was the best value by Dr. I also did get the plugs which I highly recommend. It was an additional $ 200 which is pretty high but I did feel like overall $ 1,600 for Lasik in both eyes with a year guarantee.
There was some discomfort but overall a great decision.
Just be patient with them. Be direct with your question and ask everything. Also know you can call. They are busy but they will take the time to answer your questions.
Do your research ahead of time. They are a business so their business staff are there to sell you and upsell you. Their medical staff however doesn’t not have any role in that which I appreciated.
I’d definitely recommend it and strongly suggest using the Groupon. I first got my evaluation done prior to purchasing the Groupon which I would suggest to ensure you are a candidate for lasik first.

From the moment you walk in the door, you will be congratulated for ‘taking the next step in your life.’ It sort of feels like a cult. After a hasty medical review (where you WILL get approved regardless of keratitis,) a very pushy sales staff will offer you something to the effect of $ 500 off for booking the next available appointment.
Also, the fact that a medical procedure is priced at 1999.99 per eye instead of 2000.00 feels very infomercial-​y. Not at all professional on a medical level.

The staff was extremely rude and un-​personal. They treated me like I was just another patient. They also acted like I was getting the best possible deal on my surgery but I found out later that another patient was paying much less than I was for the same procedure.
