Surface preparation is the most difficult part of painting. Shortcuts may get the job done faster and less expensive, but with an inferior result. Rickleff Painting knows that hard work and attention to detail during this phase of the project is key to client satisfaction.

Serving both residential and commercial clients, our skilled craftsmen crystallize the client’s vision of the finished product and then transform that vision into reality. History

Established in 1967.

My brother and I started the company in order to work our way through college in Monticello, In. We developed a client base there and moved the company to Indianapolis and Carmel in 1971. I operated the company until the early 1980’s, getting many of our customers through Unified Neighbors and word of mouth. Professional painters have completed the operational side of the company and still do until today. In 1991, two sons and a daughter, joined the company and the sons are still with the company on a part time basis.

I completed an undergraduate degree in education at Manchester College in 1969, and went on to Indiana University, completing a Masters of Social Work degree in 1975. I coordinated the company, along with my employees, while providing education and counseling to many students in the Indianapolis School system for 40 years. I now coordinate and operate the company on a full time basis. We are proud of our experience and appreciate our customers continued loyalty.
