PERL Mortgage has been leading Chicago’s mortgage industry for over 18 years. In 2006, National Mortgage News listed PERL as the top private correspondent lender in Illinois and in 2011, PERL was ranked #46 out of the top 100 lenders in the country by Mortgage Executive Magazine. The Carmel, Indiana branch was established in 2012 to deliver the superior service to the Indiana Market. Duffy Mullen was chosen to run the local Market as Vice President of Residential Lending for the Carmel branch.

Manager

I was born and raised in Lafayette, IN. I graduated from Ball State University in 1988 with a degree in Business Administration. I began my career in the Insurance industry and spent 4 years as a claims adjuster and 2 as a marketing representative. In July of 1996, I was offered an opportunity to work in the mortgage field as a Loan Officer with a company opening up in Indianapolis. I worked my way up in that company and realized that I really enjoyed helping people buy the home of their dreams.
