This McAllister’s is easily the most well run and we’ll managed I’ve ever been too. Never had a bad experience with them and if I did I know the manager would do his best to correct it.

The service was excellent from our relentless pursuit of the right shade of gray to the feel of the carpet, they were very patient. Allison was extremely helpful and her grandpa, Virgil stopped by to complete the measurements. I appreciate supporting a local business that is a family operation when the opportunity arises. We brought home samples which we were able to keep for a few days and try with different lighting. They even accommodated our request to install before the new furniture arrived. The installation went smoothly. We were very pleased with the price and quality.

The sales rep I worked with didn’t know squat about pricing. Every single time I asked about sq. foot price, she’d walk back to the managers office where they’d spend about 15 minutes discussing it and then come back to me. Why aren’t the pieces simply marked for price or at least have a listing of pricing (if it’s going to change that often) and refer to that on the floor? Are they pricing based on how a customer looks or what they drive? All in all, their prices are much, much higher than necessary and I’ve found the same brands much cheaper elsewhere. I don’t see this place lasting much longer if this is their approach to sales.

Before remodeling our kitchen we looked at several flooring stores in the Indianapolis/​Carmel area. We found that McCool’s had very competitive prices and the service was outstanding. They helped us pick out the flooring that best met our needs (and didn’t pressure us into buying something more expensive). The kitchen turned out great. We went back a year later and they helped up with carpeting for all 3 bedrooms. Again great prices and service (and the carpeting looks great!). I highly recommend them.
