Family Practice: Carmel Family Dental is special because we love seeing all ages and welcoming the whole family in one place.

Being Green: Carmel Family Dental is a green practice. Being a green practice means that we are doing everything in our power to use non toxic and totally natural materials. We are also doing everything we can to protect the environment. We are using all the safest, most natural materials and equipment on the market.

Sedation Dentistry: We are providing anesthesia for phobic patients with a board certified cardiac anesthesiologist who is also the chairman of the anesthesia group at CHOMP. This is the only office on the peninsula offering this kind of service. Typically «sleep dentistry» i monitored by the dentist while they are providing dental care.

Certifications: Dr. Fritsch is a certified Invisalign provider, KOR whitening provider, Care Credit provider, SPEAR Institiute Study Club Member and is endorsed by Pure Habitats. She is educated in the Huggins Protocol, the IAOMT protocol and biocompatible dentistry.

Dr. Fritsch is a member of the ADA, the California Dental Society and also served on the leadership committee of the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Hilary enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, sailing, hiking, and gardening.

History

Established in 2014.

After having their first child, Dr. Fritsch and her husband moved to Carmel, where she practiced for over three years as an independent contractor before opening her own practice. Dr. Fritsch decided that she had something unique to offer patients, and has been working hard to make Carmel Family Dental a place where something different and better is happening. She spends a lot of time on continuing education and creating a high quality, highly motivated team.

Dr. Fritsch spent 10 months creating a beautiful brand new office built fall of October 2014. She then relocated her practice to a new space, where she can now offer a totally green environment. This new location also allows for treating phobic patients with sleep dentistry by a board certified cardiac anesthesiologist.

Business Owner

Dr. Hilary Fritsch grew up in Michigan, graduated from college in Colorado and then went on to graduate from dental school at the nationally respected Temple University School of Dentistry in 2006. Temple is very well respected in the dental community. She went on to practice in the Boston area for four years while her husband was doing his anesthesia residency and fellowship at one of the Harvard hospitals.

Hilary and her husband, Dr. Matthew Fritsch, a cardiac anesthesiologist at CHOMP, made the journey across the country with their daughter and their Bernese mountain dog. They now have two children.

Although Hilary enjoys seeing a variety of patients and cases, she specializes in treating timid patients and children with high quality and esthetic dental care. She prides herself in being ethical, honest and treating patents like family.
