I had my makeup and hair done for my wedding in Carmel and literally couldn’t have been happier. So many compliments on my makeup and hair that I felt like a model. Her style is on point, current and couture. You will feel like your wearing the makeup, not like the makeup is wearing you– which is how some makeup artists can make you feel. I’ve had my hair and makeup done many times in LA, NY, etc and this was by far the best! She made my wedding day just that much better! Even my groom who hates makeup (like most men!) said it looked beautiful and not overdone.

First off, Kayhan is incredibly serene and works with such ease, that it’s tough to feel any stress around her.

Kayhan at Che Bella Designs is fabulous! I’ve been coming to her for many years and always trust that I will leave the salon looking and feeling great! As a busy full-​time working mommy of twin toddlers I look forward to my appointments with Kayhan. She always knows what to do when I need a new look and delivers excellent quality service every time. I always feel right at home at this quaint and modern style salon in beautiful Monterey. I make the trek down from San Jose, but it’s always well worth it. I highly recommend the eyebrow waxes, hair cuts, makeup, color, highlights and keratin straightening. Kayhan is an amazing colorist and stylist. She is professional, honest and so positive; a joy to be around. I would recommend her services to anyone. When I came to Kayhan over three years ago, my hair had been damaged quite badly from stylists who were not good colorists (though claimed to be). Kayhan communicated what she needed to do to bring it back to life and I am thrilled by the results. It looks healthier than it ever has and I owe it all to Kayhan — she is the best of the best!
