Minimizing the use of toxic chemicals in the construction of this office space is better for the health of the staff and for those who visit Center for Sight. Exposure to even low levels of toxic chemicals in the indoor environment has been linked to a broad spectrum of illnesses ranging from chronic sinus infections to immune system disorders and cancer. We want to emphasize good health in this office, so we thought we would start by building a healthy office space.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael B.

Business Owner

Michael A. Behforouz — is a comprehensive Ophthalmologist and has been in private practice for 15 years. He is certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology and completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Emory Eye Center, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Michael has had medical training as a transitional resident at St. Vincent Hospital, in Indianapolis, IN, and took an international rotation in ophthalmology, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

He was educated at Indiana University School of Medicine.

He also received his undergraduate education at Indiana University, in Bloomington, Indiana and received BS in Biology — Honors Division. Here he graduated with honors and awards, which include:

*Graduation with Distinction

*Dr. Arthur Metz Honors Division Scholarship (1988 — 1992)

*Hoosier Scholar (1988 — 1990)

*Intramural Sports Athlete of the Year (1992)

*Pi Kappa Alpha Chapter Scholar and President (1991 — 1992)
