Basket Case

This store has a nice selection of items that you can have arranged into a gift basket, but honestly, I didn’t really see much that I couldn’t have found on my own. I guess the real benefit of shopping at Gifts to Go — The Basket Case is the service aspect: having somebody assemble your choices and then having the gift basket delivered or shipped to the recipient. However, I am one of those people who likes to create my own care boxes and gift baskets for friends and family. Also, tallying up some of the items in the shop that would go into a «new baby» basket for my friend, for example, I realized that I probably couldn’t afford to use this service all that often. But, I did see some cute baby things. As for a chocolate basket, go to World Market and you and your recipient will be better off for the price. On a positive note, Gifts to Go does have a neat selection of «other than a basket» containers for filling and gifting. Minus a star for the salesperson who never left the basket she was creating at the back of the shop despite the presence of at least 8 customers in the store — and for the Web site, which does not post this establishment’s pertinent information anywhere on it… you know, address and hours of operation. Huge Web site no-​no for a retail store!
