Amy was a lifesaver for our wedding. I will admit, I was probably not the easiest of clients for her, but she always handled me with grace and patience and calmed me down when I had one of my many freakout moments about planning. We had some difficult challenges in planning our wedding but Amy and her team tackled them all and gave us the most incredible wedding we could ever dream of. She was fantastic at helping us reuse items to save on costs, and always offered ways to get a similar look and feel at a lower cost. The day of, Amy and her team, was even more of a dream. They handled absolutely everything and I didn’t even know about some of the issues until weeks later hearing funny stories from family members. They worked tirelessly to make our entire day seamless and so memorable and special. I am so thankful for Amy and her team and would highly recommend them!

Amy Byrd is truly an amazing and talented individual! She coordinated our wedding at Gardener Ranch in Carmel and it went off flawlessly! My husband and I worked with Amy for over a year prior to our wedding — she is incredibly organized and made sure to capture our vision for our big day! During our wedding weekend we did not have to lift a finger when it came to set up, tear down, and everything in between. During the reception I felt nauseas and Amy even had one of the Ranch’s coordinators run out to get me pepto bismol haha! She made sure my husband and I were comfortable the whole time! Everything was planned down to the minute and our wedding day was perfect! Amy is simply the best :)

We cannot recommend and praise ABW enough! Amy was fantastic at helping us to plan and coordinate our wedding from day one, and it turned out to be the truly magical and amazing day that we hoped for and envisioned. She was quick on her feet and was skillfully able to manage every little request or minor crisis that came up. Amy is a a wonderful and lovely person to work with, by the end she felt more like a friend to us than a simple hire. If we were to do it all over again, we would not hesitate to choose her again as our wedding planner. Thank you so much Amy for helping to make our day unforgettable!

We love Amy! She did an awesome job at our wedding last weekend. She was also super attentive and helpful in the months before – never making me feel unimportant just because my event was a ways off. I could not recommend Amy more highly. She totally «got» me and what I was looking for, and never pushed her own agenda — she truly wanted to make the day exactly what my husband and I envisioned. The entire day of my wedding everyone kept telling me I was the most relaxed bride they had ever seen and I owe that all to Amy Byrd and her team! Amazing doesn’t even cover it. WOW! Just WOW. We had the fortune of having Amy and Lora as our wedding planning and design team for our wedding in Santa Barbara, Ca. We have NO idea what we would have done without you.
It was important to us to have a wedding planning team who listened to our ideas and concerns and worked with us to create a wedding experience that was both over-​the-​top fun for our guests while being stress free and fun for ourselves. You delivered on both fronts, with elegance and grace… and made the entire process fun!
We know there are litereally hundreds of details and tasks that you immediately took off our plate to allow us to enjoy our wedding fully. What we didn’t realize were some of the other details that you handled for us to deliver an even better experience. In fact, days after our wedding, you are STILL assisting us as our advocate working with a few of our vendors. You continue to amaze.
All of our guests not only commented on how beautiful and fun our wedding was, but many commented on how smooth and well orchestrated our wedding was produced. We owe much of that to you. Our guests were treated to a 3 day wedding experience (Rehearsal on Thursday, Welcome Social Friday, Reception Saturday) and each experience was flawless.

I don’t know the first thing about wedding planning so I called Amy and told her what I was looking for. Although she couldn’t help me personally with what I wanted, she gave me a recommendation to someone who could. She was very sweet and I have dealt with a lot of rude people trying to plan the wedding so it was much appreciated! If I do decide that I need a wedding planner I would definitely be contacting her and recommend people who need a wedding planner do the same!

My husband and I hired Amy and her team for our October 2013 wedding. This is of course after I thought I could potentially plan it on my own and realized what an epic fail that was on my part. Christine was the wedding coordinator for our wedding and I still cannot compliment her enough. She made things so easy and to this day I do not know what I would have done without her! While Amy was unavailable on our day, she was still always eager to jump in and lend her expertise. Christine was professional, on her «A game» all the time, and most importantly a total sweetheart. We were so incredibly happy with Amy, Christine and all of the other team that was there to help make our day incredible! I will continue to recommend them over and over! :)

Amy Byrd is amazing — bottom line. From the moment I met her, I knew she would become an asset to me during the planning process. But it wasn’t just her breadth of knowledge, her vendor connections, or her serious organization skills, but her kind nature and sweet smile that made me want to work with her.
There were many times during the planning process that I became overwhelmed with the sheer volume of decisions that had to be made, and details that had to be attended to. Fortunately with Amy by our side, she made the process easier.
Not only is Amy intelligent and organized, but she is creative. There were many details that I left in the hands of Amy entirely because I trusted her judgment — our dessert table for instance. We handed her a few cake pedestals and plates, and she created a beautiful display that exceeded my expectations.
We had an unforgettable wedding day at Holman Ranch and we couldn’t have done it without Amy Byrd and her team (thanks Sarah!). I really can not recommend her highly enough.

I can’t say how much I love Amy and her whole team, especially Sarah! Her whole team was so great, that I don’t even know where to start!
My husband and I got married in San Francisco in October of 2013, meaning that Amy coordinated, planned and executed a destination wedding from her office in Carmel. She took care of every detail (and my crazy family) not only professionally, but lovingly and caringly as if she was one of my own family members.
Over the year long process, she was with me, my Mom and fiancée every step of the way. She recommended the person who custom made my wedding dress (and was at every fitting), and was able to guide me through the never ending task of picking things that reflected what she knew to be my style. She also personally came to San Francisco numerous times to help me find my venue, then do a walk through of the venue with my photographer and also coordinated a walk through of how my sweetheart table and furniture would be arranged.
Aside from that, one of the most important things she did was help guide everything so that all of my relatives, guests and wedding party knew where to be, when to be there and how to get there. That is no small feat in a city of San Francisco. As a bride, I could relax knowing that I wasn’t responsible for having to tell which auntie, uncle, vendor or bridesmaid what to do because she and her team had it all under control!
Sarah was also instrumental in doing a lot of things, like securing a cable car to take us to the reception at the very last minute, when the other one fell through because of deposit issues. She was lovely, caring, professional and kind throughout the whole process.
Another thing I was so grateful for was that Amy took care of things so I could emotionally have the room to prepare for the wedding and enjoy my big day. She helped me navigate the waters of working with Mom, getting payments from dear old Dad, and having boundaries with friends and relatives.
My husband and I were able to take off on our honeymoon and relax knowing she and her team took care of everything afterwards as well. As a matter of fact, my bridesmaids and I were able to take a nap before the rehearsal dinner so we could be refreshed and relaxed. Most bridal parties are running around with their heads cut off the day before, but not me and my girls. We were almost bored because Amy and her team had done everything.
I consider Amy a friend for life. Please hire her. You won’t regret it!

I’ve worked with Amy and her team from the vendor-​side of the wedding day, so I’ve seen behind the scenes and all that goes into an Amy Byrd wedding. I can honestly say that I’ve met only a handful of people who pour every ounce of passion and enthusiasm into what they do, and Amy is without a doubt one of those talented few. Without sounding too sales-​persony (yes, that’s a newly-​coined term, use with discretion), if you hire Amy’s crew, you’ll get the hardest working, most genuine and creative wedding planning team in the area. They’re fantastic.

Our wedding was over a year ago– and we LOVED Amy. She was awesome– we had to move our wedding date and she did it with a smile. Great value for the money. you won’t regret it!

What can I say? It has been two weeks since my wedding and I just can not stop thinking or hearing about how amazing it was. I had a vision of how I wanted my big night and Beth Bellatti of Amy Byrd Weddings helped me realize it. She took my ideas and created a breathtaking event from them. My family and friends all commented on how fantastic she was during the entire planning experience.
Her time investment was shocking. I am a doctor and have seen this level of effort only amongst my friends in residency. She planned the rehearsal, wedding, and brunch. Every recommendation she made was superb.
Frankly, I could not have asked for more.

When we first began planning our wedding, my fiancée and I weren’t sure we would be able to afford a coordinator — but let me tell you, the money we spent to hire Amy Byrd was the absolute best investment we made throughout the entire planning process.
Amy is a perfect gem. She’s a sweet, helpful, honest, and downright fun person to work with. She made every step easier, and when I was too Type A to ask for help she sorta forced me to take it anyway — an awesome trait for a wedding coordinator to have, lemme tell you!
Everyone told me to expect problems on my wedding day, that not everything would go smoothly — but thanks to Amy, the day was as perfect as I had hoped & dreamed it would be. She and our caterer (see my review of A Taste of Elegance catering) went the extra mile to make our wedding absolutely beautiful, even when our pockets got tight near the end of the road. ;D

Amy did an amazing job on the wedding! It rained that day (10÷4÷08) and we got so lucky that the ceremony was held in between the rain outdoors still. It was incredible. I am STILL getting compliments on how well executed it was.
And Amy is really there for you the whole time. I really felt like she went above and beyond. Sure the rain may have thrown a huge wrench in things but she pulled it off really well and everyone had a spectacular time. My previous review still stands and then some! Amy helped plan my wedding at Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley. She is easy to work with, has great recommendations and relationships with local vendors, and makes it a top priority that the couple feel supported throughout the planning process. She understood my vision and helped me with all the difficult decisions.
It was such a huge weight off my shoulders to have Amy to run the entire event — I had 100% confidence in her and she did an amazing job. Everything went smoothing and the wedding was asolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Amy if you are looking for a wedding planner in the Carmel/​Monterey Area.
