She not only has a wonderful gift, she has dedicated her life to the fundamental art of healing. With over 22 years in the business of body work She has mastered Deep Tissue P & F, Sports, and Advanced Stone Therapy. She is also a master at energy work and reflexology.

I had one of the best massages I’ve had in years. It was one of those «wake and can’t move much and certainly couldn’t bend over without acute pain days.» Barb was fantastic. I can now bend over and pick up dog poop again! Über cool toilet, too!

Worst experience– over charge — changes prices — gets you in the door then changes everything — services were not even ½ the quality it should be. Weird! Very rude to her employees — not professional. Complete Fraud !

Definitely the slowest and maybe the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. The nail people were nice enough, but untrained and inexperienced. There were 2 of them and it was like the blind leading the blind. Limited nail polish choices. The pedicure bowls are nice looking, but they are jerry rigged with a footrest that goes over the top that doesn’t stay in place. The whole place smelled really weird too. Maybe their other services are good, but don’t go here for a mani-​pedi.

I had one of the weirdest and worst massages I’ve ever had here. I don’t even know where to begin, it was all bad from start to finish! The spa seemed dirty, my tech never asked what I needed work on or what pressure I liked, her nails were too long and were scratching me whole time, the ‘body lotion’ they used was tacky and sticky and gross, and the worst part was my friend and I were in a couples room (that we didn’t want) and we could tell that the techs were mouthing and signing to each other during our massage! I’ve had literally hundreds of massages in my life and I’ve never had an experience like this one before. It was just all around bad… Do not waste your time!

Have gone in now twice for manicures — with the polish with extra staying power Shellac! The polish lasts for weeks — no chipping! My nails were a mess, the technician took care of everything — even gave me a hand massage with Shea butter! Looking forward to booking my first facial in quite a few years!

I went there with one of my oldest girlfriends. We each got an hour massage, and a body scrub. I can’t review her experience, but here’s mine.
We couldn’t get ahold of anyone on the phone to make an appointment. So we walked in first thing in the morning. The girl at the front was a little confused over pricing, but she was able to set our appointments. It was mid week and not busy at all!
My first hour massage was a little weird. My masseuse was an older gal with curly hair, who didn’t introduce herself. I didn’t go there for a therapeutic massage, so I wasn’t expecting much. I was just happy to be on a stay-​cation! After I’m naked on her table, I hear her whisper very loudly to the much more experienced masseuse «I’m staaaaarving!» Uhhh… ok?
Her hour massage was not very relaxing. I was happy when it was over. Then she just left. Didn’t say anything. Just left. But hey, I didn’t mind. Good riddance.
For my hour body scrub after, April MORE than made up for it! Now THIS girl is a professional! My scrub finished early, so for the rest of the hour she did body work on me. Right away, she could tell I had old injuries and adjusted her technique.
Context: Since 2007 I’ve had chronic back and neck issues. I’ve had countless massages, adjustments, PT sessions, so I think I can make an educated opinion on body work.
April’s technique? HOLY CANNOLI! After her magic hands, I felt like jelly! Pain that I didn’t even know I had was gone! I felt so good, I did a dance while paying. Not joking. I danced. Like fool. With a huge grin on my face.
Bottom line: the staff is hit or miss, but April is a real jem! Go see her for excellent physical therapy without the hefty cost!

Terrible, extremely unprofessional horrible service from the crazy rude hurried greeting we received the second we set foot in the door to the shove out the door! Yes, the birthday girl in our group was actually shoved out for not giving a 20% tip for services they were under staffed and unable to provide. ONE STAR is too many — now they have charged the card we used to hold the reservation for our group spa day the remainder of what the owner thought our group should have paid! $ 1100! Yup, they did that! Obviously contesting and hopefully VISA will remove the charge. DO NOT GO TO THIS SPA unless you like to pay for rudeness, services that cannot be provided and a crazy crazy owner (aka there’s no one to complain to– she will just shove you out the door) they should close down — now! Unfortunately for us, the bday girl’s husband arranged our spa day because it was his wife’s birthday. Too bad we didn’t see the horrible very real bad reviews below. Heed everyone’s warnings… this place is not a good place to relax! Go somewhere else, anywhere else really!

What a hoax. This place is the poorest excuse for a business I have ever seen. The only way they are able to stay in business is with grossly unethical practices and what in our cause amounted to fraud.
The lady working there Tanya, was a complete mess. She tried to double charge people who payed cash. And was in and out non stop. She seemed strung out and on meth. Tanya also demanded a 20% gratuity. Please do not support this business.

I walked by this place and thought it looked so comfy I had to schedule a massage there. I am so glad I did. I had a great time getting a pedicure, hanging out with other customers, and drinking complementary wine. Everyone is really friendly, my pedicure looks great and I get to top it off with a massage. Highly recommend this place!

This place ruined my nails.
I came for a take off and a manicure and it took over an hour for them to take them off they didn’t tell me I had to sit smelling acetone for an hour I nearly passed out from being dizzy.
I had told her before that I had an hour and she said no problem.
I have never had my nails soaked before they should have communicated they didn’t have the proper tools to do what I needed done
Then I asked to wash my hands and she had me do it in the pedicure bowls…
Also had a cut cuticle and they had no bandaids
Then I was contacted multiple times to remove this review. Not appropriate did not give them my number. This is getting ridiculous

this is the worse business establishment i have ever witnessed! no ethics, no class, no customer service! if you want to get down right yelled at, cursed at, be threatened at then be my guest and come here. i wish i would have read the reviews before booking an appointment here.
i booked a couples massage on 8÷7÷15 for my pregnant wife’s birthday and i, scheduled for 8⁄10. I wanted my wife to relax and unwind before our big day. i called in 8÷8÷15 the very next day to cancel our appointment and the lady at the front desk honored it and said ok no problem. Come 8÷10÷15 I was charged $ 230 for the massage even after i canceled. i called in and spoke with the owner tonya and she straight up yelled, cursed at me, hung up the phone and was down right nasty!!!
we are newlyweds with our first baby on the way, every dollar counts for us and tonya did not want to honor the cancellation stating that we called in too late when in fact i called in within 48 hours! so i went down to the store to talk like normal adults and she did not even give me a chance to talk, she started yelling and calling me all kinds of nasty name and all i wanted to do was discuss the situation at hand. SHE called the police! for no apparent reason! A normal and respectable business especially the owner would sit down with you in a professional and courtesy manner to try and find a solution to the problem. she claimed i was «stalking» by calling her 4 times in the span of 10 hours. if you would answer the phone and not be so rude the first time no one would need to call 4 times. she was insanely rude.
i will be reporting her to the bbb and consumers affair of monterrey county.

Went with my boyfriend for a couples massage while on vacation. Upon walking in was greeted with wine by Tonya who was a neat lady. The massage was amazing. The only part that could have been improved upon was sound proofing. Sounds from outside kept jerking me away from my mental paradise! All in all however I would go back every day if I could.

What a great experienace! This place was so accommodating and relaxing. Came here to pamper a bride before her wedding, and she left feeling relaxed and ready to go. Got myself a lavender pedicure and omg it was amazing. The bride got a facial, eye brow wax and mani and she was treated like a queen. Definitely going to come back everytime I come to carmel!!! I would reccommend them to everyone.

Cute place, OK pedi, way to much money. $ 65 for a pedi is outrageous! Maybe I was charged for my glass of wine? The ambience was nice and so was the service. The water gets cold quickly when soaking your feet because of the type of bowl used.
If you are looking for a spa-​like experience on vacation then this is your place. If you are a local in need of a good, quick pedi then go across the street.

Wow– my wife and I had a great couples massage last weekend. Lee and his wife gave us fantastic treatment. Be sure to ask for Lee when making your appointment. This facility is centrally located in down town Carmel and is worth a visit if you are in town for the weekend. Lee also knows the best hotels and restaurants so be sure to ask for local recommendation.

Most amazing massage ever and I have had many! First of all, Tonya, the owner is so welcoming and makes you feel like her best friend. The spa is serene, relaxing but still classy. Very convenient downtown Carmel. You must get the 80 minute massage by Shakti!!!
