W.O.T. also specializes in high quality rigging, engine repowers, mobile service, trailer repair, diagnostics, electrical, engine overhauls, fiberglass repair, annual engine/​trailer services, detailing, upholstery, boat haul outs, and boat transportation.

Since opening their doors, Wide Open Throttle Marine has provided the highest level of service and care to their customers. This attention to detail stems from a true passion for the marine business. For Jim and Kyle Lancon, W.O.T. Marine is more than just a business; it’s an extension of their own lifestyle. As water skiing and boating enthusiasts themselves, Jim and Kyle share a unique connection with their customers and bring that enthusiasm to every job they take on.

W.O.T. Marine first began in 2005 preforming mobile boat service and repairs in the greater North County area. Since those early years, W.O.T. Marine has expanded to include a 5,600 square foot full service and repair facility. With a stocked parts room and a highly qualified team, there is no job too small or too large for them to handle. Servicing a wide variety of boats, from high performance outboards to stern drives, tournament ski/​wake board boats, and trailer repair.

Kyle L.

Business Owner

Jim Lancon and his son Kyle have over 30 years combined experience as boating enthusiast and mechanics. Jim is a trained and licensed FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic, Aerospace engineer, and holds a bachelors degree in business administration.

Kyle obtained valuable experience working as a mechanic at an Orange County high performance engine and powerboat service center. Since 2010 Kyle has been the shop manager and service writer. Give us a all today and see what W.O.T. Marine can do for you!
