Excellent service, quality craftsmanship, and extremely patient! My water heater failed and was leaking all over the garage. I did some quick research and called Plamen. He arrived within hours and confirmed that I needed a new water heater. After discussion and private deliberation I elected to install a tankless unit for about 2.5x more than what a normal unit cost. Plamen said he’d return in the morning with the unit to install it. Well, after he left I changed my mind and asked Plamen to instead, pick up a Rheem from Home Depot that I had already bought and install it. He didn’t complain, didn’t try to up sell, and didn’t try to persuade me to stick with the more expensive system. His install was perfect too and it looks great and functions exactly as expected! I highly recommend calling Plamen if you have water heater issues or need a new unit!

Came home at around 9PM and saw my water heater was leaking. Went to Unilocal for help. Have you seen how many Water Heater companies have full 5 Stars? How do you pick? What I do is I click on the individual companies and then re-​sort the comments with Lowest Stars first to read the bad reviews. All the 5 Star companies had bad Unilocal buried in there, except for Water Heater Online. All 67 of their comments are full 5 Stars. Not a single bad review at all. I checked out their website and they offer the option for either Bradford White or Rheem and their starting quote prices were the best I found online. I filled out their Free Quote estimate online. A very friendly receptionist called me at 7:30AM following morning. Went over the different brands and options. She quoted me the full price for labor, new tank, and hauling away of the old unit. It was very reasonable. She sent a plumber 1 hour later and he did a great job. I saw in the reviews that they also do other plumbing services. I will definitely use them in the future if I need other plumbing repair services.

These days it’s hard to find people and companies that take pride in what they do. When I called they arranged for someone to come out and replace my hot water heater that was leaking everywhere. Plamen came out to my house and was prompt professional and probably the best plumber I’ve ever dealt with. It was the cleanest work I have ever seen. I will definitely call them again and highly recommend.

We used NCWH service at our old house to replace the water heater, Plamen did a great job and price was much lower than the other competitors, we were happy with Plamen’s services. When we had a plumbing problem at the new house we called Plamen, he came next morning and fixed everything quickly and for very reasonable price. Thank you Plamen.

Vlad was prompt and worked around my schedule to remove the old heater and then install the new one. He even installed on a Sunday afternoon. The job was done professionally and quickly. He also installed a recirc pump for instant heat and less water waste.
Prices were reasonable and he did not try to sell me one of his dealer tanks — just let me purchase one at the Depot. He then performed a «will-​call» pickup there at no extra charge. Well done!

I chose them due to their great Unilocal reviews — was not disappointed! Our water heater had been leaking for weeks and needed to get this done. Called on a Saturday morning, spoke with Vladimir and got a fair quote. After calling several other businesses, went back to Vladimir and scheduled for later in the afternoon. Vladimir called to let us know when arriving, replaced our heater with a Bradford White, and a valve that was corroded. Our heater is on the 3rd floor with some awkward stairs — no problem for him. Great job, great price, great service — fast and efficient! Highly recommend.

Discovered that our old water heater was leaking early on a Saturday morning. Already knew I needed a new one soon; the old one was 38 years old! (No joke!) My wife called around and got a few quotes; Plamen was very reasonable at $ 799 (another guy quoted us $ 1800, one thousand more for the same job!) AND be at our place to do the install in about an hour. Wow! Remember this is on a Saturday … the best anyone else could do was «maybe sometime on Monday.»
Anyway, Plamen showed up on time, and did a very professional job.

Really impressive and highly recommend. I called North County Water Heater at 7 p.m. at night when we had a water leak. At first, I couldn’t determine if it was the water heater or the pipes but Plamen answered the phone and gave me some tips about how to isolate the issue. It turned out to be a pipe leak but I did end up using Plamen to reset my water heater.
I’ve found the company to be extremely reliable, helpful, professional and courteous. I would recommend and definitely use again.

Water heater thermocouple went bad (after only 6 years) Christmas Eve. SDG&E came out and told us what was wrong. After calling many places found North County Water Heater Services
and they were extremely quick, efficient and did not try to rip us off.
After getting ridiculous quotes of up to $ 400 for a 30 – 60 minute job to replace a $ 10 thermocouple (although it was Christmas Day) we are extremely satisfied with and highly recommend North County Water Heater Services!

Owner answered the phone at 9pm on a Monday, he was out to install the water heater by 1p the next day. Even made sure I had called the manufacturer and exhausted my warranty options before installing the new unit. They quoted a fair price ($ 500 cheaper than the others I had gotten) and were in and out in less than an hour. Very friendly and good communication. Would definitely recommend.

I had been without hot water for 2 weeks for my «2nd» home. I had restarted the pilot but the pilot would not stay lit nor did my water stay «hot». Water came out lukewarm and I would always need to restart the pilot. I wasn’t in a rush to get an assessment as I had been traveling. I finally was able to schedule an appointment with SDGE for a water heater assessment, and when he lit the pilot, he heard some odd noises coming from the unit.
He quickly turned off the gas and said that the water heater was «bad» and I needed a replacement. Original water heater of 10 years. He had never heard of a water heater hissing and making the sounds (knocking from the sediment) as my heater did. He mentioned that it’s best to go with a small business owner vs. the big box stores (Home Depot/​Lowes). I went on Unilocal and Plamen’s business was the first one I called.
Plamen immediately answered and requested info on my water heater. I sent over pics of my water heater and he gave me a quote instantly ($ 699 for 40 gal/​$ 799 for 50 gal). I scheduled an appointment for the replacement. The day before my appointment, Plamen called and confirmed my appointment. Day of, I was running 15 mins late, and he accommodated my schedule.
When he came to my residence, he was very professional, courteous and efficient. Plamen took the time to explain specifics to me and answered all my questions. After the install, he checked all my faucets to be sure water was flowing and pressure was right. He also tightened one of my sink plugs that only took less than a minute!
Plamen also relayed that if I were to go out on vacation or long periods of time, to turn the temperature to pilot so that the heater doesn’t stay on while we are out. It’ll save some money in the long run. COOL! Thanks!!!
6 year warranty for a Bradford White 40gal water heater with 1 year labor warranty. The entire process was 1 ½ hours total. Started 215p and job completed by 345p.
