Cute place conveniently located with outdoor seating (was really hot inside). Standard not-​Yogurtland yogurt with standard toppings. Toppings were well stocked, not melty, and the syrups were good — nice variety. A bit pricey for not-​Yogurtland. Very pleasant staff.

My daughter loves this place. We often stop in during the farmers market on Wednesdays for a treat. I really like how they have different flavors to choose from all the time. It isn’t always the same olé. A little pricey is the only reason I gave four stars.

This is a cute little yogurt shop in Carlsbad Village. They don’t have a ton of flavors, but the ones they have are quite good. I got triple chocolate, peanut butter and cookies & cream. Yummy. The young guy behind the counter was nice. I might have to go back tomorrow.

Great location in the heart of the Villages. Walking distance to the beach and many restaurants.

Being so close to the village and a lover of frozen yogurt this is a spot I’ve been coming to for some time. While the yogurt and toppings are wonderful I’m writing this post now to give a shout out to an employee there, I believe his name is Jacob. Unlike the other employees I’ve met over time he was very kind and hospital to me and my husband. Not only that but he introduced us to our first stamp card which was a surprise since it hadn’t been mentioned to us before. Keep up the good work Jacob!

Based on the otherwise great reviews, I think my terrible experience here was anomalous and probably single-​handedly due to the one lazy and negligent employee working.
First, all the yogurt machines were flashing a red light that said they were low on yogurt, even though the place was dead. All the yogurt that we were actually able to dispense came out the consistency of cold soup. We told the fellow working about this and while still on his phone he simply looked at us and back at his phone like we said nothing important. This was sad because the flavors of yogurt looked really good.
Next, the topping selection was okay and I was at least satisfied with that until I got to the hot fudge dispenser. The fudge was not hot at all and it was impossible to dispense. I really enjoy hot fudge on my froyo, so this was super disappointing. Again, this was brought to the employee’s attention and once again he shrugged it off like it wasn’t his responsibility to ensure everything is in order.
I don’t mind paying a premium price on things like this, but it sure sucks when you’re treated so negligently in the process. I have never seen a froyo place so out of order. While I don’t want to hold the entire business accountable for the actions of one of their staff, I’m amazed the dude even made it through an interview without texting.

This place has bomb fro yo but the price kind of «bombs» me out and that’s why I had to give this place three stars! It’s a little muggy and small in there and the quality of the spoons are cheap, especially for Carlsbad. I still recommend this place if you like cookies-​n-​cream. Just a tiny recommendation for the owner: it needs some ambiance to liven it up!

Just spent three days in Carlsbad and went here twice for a cool treat. I think we would have gone three times but we didn’t find it until the second day.
It’s a nice little shop with good eats, great seats and nice peeps.

Stopped in after my daughter’s violin private down the street. It’s a small location just off Carlsbad Village Dr. If you aren’t looking for it, don’t blink! You’ll miss it. Anyway, if you’re in need of a cool treat on a warm day and strolling around downtown Carlsbad, stop into Swirlicious. Decent selection of froyo with a decent selection of toppings. Nothing fancy, just good ‘ol fashion goodies with friendly service.

3 words: PEANUT BUTTER FROYO.
I’m in love with their peanut butter froyo. Genius flavor that I’ve never seen before in any other froyo shops.
Place is small and kind of tucked away but this place is a hidden gem for sure.
Very clean facility, sweet staff and okayish parking. Also, super cheap!

It’s just like yogurt land. Can’t complain. It was good. Nothing out of the ordinary.

This is my go to frozen yogurt spot in the village. I live in the area and was I search of a place walking distance to my house. After some quick Unilocaling I came across this place. They usually have at least 8 different flavors and they rotate a few every couple weeks so it’s always changing. Currently they have a chocolate chip cookie dough which is tasty.
They are generous with their samples and have plenty of toppings to pick from. They do price it on weight and I would have to say that it is a bit pricey relative to other spots I have been. But the location is prime. My favorite thing to do is pick up some frozen yogurt and head down to the beach to catch the sunset, simply perfect!
My goto creation is chocolate and calla yogurt with granola, baby chocolate chips and coconut. Give it a try!

It’s so nice to have a delicious and fresh yogurt place in the heart of downtown Carlsbad.
My measure of good yogurt is by the «tart.» Their tart definitely is tops in my chart! Other favorites of their regular customers include the vanilla custard (low fat), cheesecake and double Dutch chocolate.
Next time I’m in a the area, I will be back to enjoy more of it!

This place is TINY, so the selection is not the greatest in the world, but they do have your standard go tos like chocolate and vanilla. Every once in a while you’ll get a funky cool flavor.
It’s a nice little spot if you’re on State St. after dinner and you’re looking for a dessert.

SUPER TINY froyo place but they still have quite a few flavor choices; my favorite being the salted caramel pretzel. Not too many toppings which I am ok with since I don’t get any. Great location. Great parking. $ 18 for 5 froyos. Not bad. I would def come back. Nice customer service.

not a huge fan but my kids sure make a big deal about of this place. part of the appeal is that SWIRLICIOUS is all about desert (and which kid’s not up for a sugar rush now and then) plus they’re partial to the custom build buffet of sweet toppings.
the shop’s pretty small and that must be a bit overwhelming when they’re busy. i like that you can sample the yogurt flavors — that’s a thoughtful touch.
on a quiet, very early spring evening not a bad spot to swing by after dinner and sit curbside on the sidewalk and watch the world go by (or sneak a peak at the rowdy drunks in the bar next door watching NCAA basketball and putting their own spin on MARCH MADNESS).

The thing that makes me happy coming here is the price. They’re not as pricey as yogurtland and they taste the exact taste to me.
I usually have vanilla since I love switching up my toppings from one to another. The person at the cashier greets you when you come in with a smile on his face. This place is smaller than I expect but it’s good enough I think. They have a few chairs where you can sit in and even magazines by the door.
It honestly doesn’t get any better than this.

Tried Swirlicious for the first time this week, and I’m hooked. The Swirlicious staff is über friendly and welcoming, just like you’d hope for at a froyo spot near the beach! Okay, the flavors were amaaaaaaaaazing. Sea salt caramel pretzel, need I say more? I put a ton of flavors into my cup, loaded on the toppings and even added a dollop of caramel sauce yumminess… together, all of these flavors combined to create HEAVEN. ON. EARTH.
Might my verbiage be a tad colorful? Mayhaps. Mayhaps. But deservedly so!

Everything about this place is sweet! The yogurt selections, the toppings, the pink paint job, the quaint size and the staff.
Even though the shop is very small in square footage it is still big on flavor. As others have mentioned, there are many options of both yogurt and toppings. I’ve had many a cups of fro’ yo’ over the years but this place had some flavors which I’ve never seen before like sea salted caramel. That was a very nice surprise.
Although they do have one table and a few seats at a counter, this place is very small so you may want to plan to take your yogurt to go.
