Studio 1220

Love this store! The girls who work there are sweet and not pushy retail associates but more stylists. I love the Clothing, the shoes, the jewelry, and the great gift options. It’s my go to store for my regular shopping and when I need a unique piece for a weekend or event. I always get compliments on my Studio 1220 items. I can’t say enough about this store.

This place has a great, eclectic selection of casual, fashionable clothes. The jewelry selection is a little light, but some of the stuff they do have is amazing – like a more affordable alternative to Free People. It’s a bit of a higher pricepoint but you can find some gems for sure.

How does a boutique survive in today’s world with employees that do not even acknowledge your presence in their empty store. SMH

I wish I didn’t love the merchandise in this store so much, because the customer service alone makes me not want to spend a dime. The gal I’ve seen in there the majority of the time must be — or be related to — the owner, because I can’t for the life of me understand why she would continue to be employed there. I can’t be alone in this experience. Alas, I love the clothing selection so much, I will continue to go in, prepared to feel as if I am not even wanted in there.

Always a great experience. One of the only places I choose to spend my money. One of the sales girls is my favorite. She always styles for me and picks out the cutest stuff. I’ve really enjoyed the prices and quality.

I have visited Studio 1220 several times. I am older than the usual demographic for a boutique like this, but I always find something unique to purchase. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, but I don’t feel pressured (I will walk out of a store where the sales people are pushy). Working with Melinda, who I think is the manager, is like having your own personal stylist.
They have great accessories to help put a cute outfit together. The prices are moderate and fair. I like shopping there because I don’t feel like I’m going to see people wearing the same clothes all over town. They are located in the Forum shopping center and I would say, definitely check them out!

Went in for the first time today, shopping by myself. The two girls working there were so sweet, i needed advice and help for an outfit for my birthday and they were honest, helpful, and easy to talk to. Great shopping experience. Absolutely will go back!

Other stops in here: Francesca’s, Ulta, and then Free People and Anthropologie to window shop. CAn’t wait for the H&M and Urban Outfitters to open up here.

This store is a San Diego native. The first store opened downtown but they now have a store in North County in the Carlsbad Forum Shops. I didn’t know this until I stumbled on this place by accident — I thought it was TRE clothing which is next door. A whoopsie but ended up being a good whoopsie at least.
This is a great, stylish and affordable womens clothing store but be prepared — you have to look through each rack to find them so you have to be patient. I found a couple of shirts that I have found to love for only $ 19.99 each!
The gal working was nice and helpful and gave me the space that I needed to shop in peace. She didn’t ask me every two minutes if I needed help and let me take my time as I looked through their inventory. A plus in my book because I don’t like people hovering over me when I shop.
I’ll definitely be popping in here more often for good finds. Amazingly, the shirt I purchased was so cheap but I’ve gotten so many complements on it and I’ve only worn it a few times. Sweet! I love my designer brands but finding good buys like this is my favorite kind of shopping! ;)
