We also provide regular, on-​going cleaning services both residential and commercial and are known for being very thorough, reliable and detailed.

Nothing goes untouched when cleaning for the 1st time or on a regular basis. We also tailor our services to the client’s preferences and provide eco-​friendly products for those client’s who prefer that type of cleaning.

Whether you’re a homeowner, office manager, realtor or property management company, Spotless ‘n Serene is more than capable of taking care of your needs.

We also offer Concierge Services. This could include errand running, closet organizing, dog walking/​potty break, pet sitting, goodwill drop off, and more!

History

Established in 2013.

Although Spotless ‘n Serene Cleaning Service was founded in 2013, the owner has been in business since 1999. Originally from WI, Karen Coy has lived on both the west coast and the east coast, and is happy to be back on the west coast enjoying beautiful California and its ideal weather. Being raised on a dairy farm, Ms. Coy knows all about hard work and time management.

We changed our name and re-​branded ourselves to align with the in-​home spa services we provide through professionals in those fields. We offer massages, facials, manicures/​pedicures, body wraps and more! This is not a separate business, rather an added niche. Our clients can choose to have a spa service in the comfort of their own home, or not.

In addition, Spotless ‘n Serene will also offer Concierge Services to provide the client the benefit of having one company take care of some of the more common day tasks… dog walking, errand running, closet organizing, mobile dog services and more.

CEO and Founder, Karen Coy, is originally from WI. Raised on a dairy farm, she learned hard work first hand.

«I started to pay more attention to cleaning tasks as a young adult. I would visit my parents (after moving out) on weekends, and find myself cleaning their microwave, vacuuming and doing the dishes! I was working in corporate America when I decided to start my own cleaning business in 1999. I’ve been in this field ever since.

I am passionate about what I do, and take great pride in maintaining, or in some cases, transforming my client’s home. I’m excited to take on the role of CEO after many years of being independently run and operated with a few employees.

I look forward to building my business once again, and enjoy the lifestyle CA has to offer»!

We were getting our house ready to put on the market & there was so much cleaning to be done to get it ready for showings. Karen was super responsive trying her best to work things out on my short notice to her that I needed a cleaning. She was going to be out of town the day of the cleaning and was nervous about sending someone newer to the company without her being there. Karen gave me a list of items that would traditionally be cleaned & it was more things then I would ever think or expect– her attention to detail is unremarkable. This definitely transmits through the employees she hires to work with her. My house looked amazing, smelled amazing, & was amazingly clean!

I had some construction work done on my house, and there was dust everywhere. Based on the great Unilocal reviews, I contacted Karen. She was very professional, and was able to set up an appointment quickly. She and her helper were awesome! They stayed for hours, cleaning from top to bottom. I have never had my house cleaned so throughly. I would highly recommend this service, and will be using them again.

With a new baby coming home from the NICU, we decided to we needed to get our house clean. After reading other reviews on Unilocal,I decided to reach out to Karen to see if she could do a deep clean – I am so happy I did. She did an absolutely wonderful job (I don’t think our house has ever been this clean!). She is extremely well organized and detailed oriented. She starts from the top ceilings and works her way all the way down to the bottom baseboards. Once she was done, there wasn’t a speck of dust or dirt left in our house. I highly recommend Karen, you will not be disappointed in her services.

Karen is simply amazing!
I own a vacation rental and I needed to find someone I could trust to clean our newly remodeled home in a manner that would be acceptable to even the most picky traveler. It was a little scary at first having someone come that I had never used before but only relying on the Unilocal reviews. I took a leap of faith on Karen and thank God I did!
Karen is extremely detail oriented and you definitely get the white glove service with her. Once she finishes, she triple checks everything to make sure she didn’t overlook anything and that everything is cleaned perfectly. I have hired cleaners in the past but no one comes close to her standards. She is very reliable and I am completely at ease knowing she can let herself in and clean after a renter moves out and I don’t have to worry about going and checking to make sure acceptable because it is always spotless! I constantly receive reviews from my guests about the cleanliness of our place.

Karen is the BEST!!!
We were in desperate need of a «deep clean» of our home and Karen came to the rescue. Our 2BR town home transformed from completely unmanageable and dirty due to two australian shepherd dogs and a busy schedule to spotlessly CLEAN and BEAUTIFUL!!!
Karen worked for over 12 hrs… that’s how dirty it was (so embarrassing)!!! She is very detail oriented and thorough and does everything she possibly can to meet your expectations. She is also super easy to communicate with both in person and through phone calls/​texts which is a plus :) She even followed up with us later to make sure we were happy with her work and to recommend someone who could restore our natural stone tile.

Karen was easy to communicate over the phone and was very professional. She arrived exactly when she said she would and brought everything she needed with her. I felt comfortable enough having her in my home without me there as I believe she truly cares about her business and providing a professional service. This was my first experience having my home cleaned by a pro and it was a special treat to myself (one I will probably do again). Thanks Karen. Oh and sometimes there is a little bit of a wait to get an open slot so bare that in mind that she may need a little lead time.

Karen is amazing! From the moment we connected, she was professional and prompt. We did all of our scheduling over text, which I truly appreciated because I can’t always talk on the phone while I’m at work. She showed up exactly at 8:00 am with all of her supplies, and she was beyond patient with my two loud, uncooperative dogs. She got straight to work, and cleaned non-​stop until the job was done. She truly cleans ceiling to floor– it’s not just a slogan. She even did the windowsills in my bathroom. She was concerned she might have gotten hair in the dog water bowl, so she dumped and refilled it– so thoughtful! When she was done, she showed me her work and explained one of the areas with hard water staining that she wasn’t able to totally get rid of– I so appreciated her honesty and hard work. I can’t wait to have her back!

She did all the baseboards, doors, floors, dusted all the hard to reach and out of the way places, etc. Our home looks wonderful! Spotless «N Serene Cleaning Service ~ Can I brag here? Karen’s cleaning of my condo helped me make 100K dollars than from when I bought it! OK… the real estate market had a lot to do with the price… Karen brings such an incredible level of detail to her customers. She is very detailed and proficient with her cleaning services. My non-​shedding dog still left an ‘aroma’ in the house and she got rid of that for my prospective buyers who came on the open house day!

«Spotless and Serene» just doesn’t cut it — I think «Clean, Pristine, Spotless, and Serene» is more appropriate.
Spoke with Karen at «Spotless and Serene» on a Wednesday regarding a ‘one-​time-​deep-​cleaning.’ After a brief Q & A, I inquired about a booking. The prices were great, the Q&A’s for me were spot on, and the professionalism was evident. I’d originally wanted the service to occur that Friday (yeah, that’s pretty quick, I know); as predicted, there was no availability. However, she’d had a cancellation for Saturday just moments before my call. I love serendipity. And, although I needed to rearrange my schedule, I booked it. Boy, I’m glad I did.

At 8AM on Saturday, I met Karen at the door. We took a brief tour around the place to insure we were on the same page… We were. And, once the job was done, there was no stone left unturned. Every ‘nook and cranny’ had been cleaned, swept, and organized. Every blind on the property wiped down. Every objet d’art dusted. Especially the bathrooms, folks. Hence, the rationale for the ‘clean and pristine’ remark at the top.
The place felt different… Peaceful… Serene. See what I did there?
Honestly, I rarely give such detailed reviews, but when a company goes above and beyond my expectations, I feel impelled to share. Not only as a ‘thank you’ to the service provider, but to the other Unilocalers who’ve helped me out by sharing their experiences, as well.
I highly recommend the services of Spotless and Serene. As a former operations manager for a large market research company, it was my responsibility to ensure the ‘impeccability’ of our rather posh focus group rooms for the clients. Perhaps having a ‘touch’ of OCD myself, (not really, ok, maybe…) I had a tendency to drive our janitorial staff and housekeeping crew ‘nuts’ (their words — not mine). I believe ‘relentless’ was used once or twice, actually. That being said, upon my arrival and inspection (yes, I felt comfortable enough to leave), I found the place to be… flawless. We will be scheduling our monthly visits soon. Job well done. Thank you.
