They have a captive audience. Service was terrible. One night three people completely ignored me as I stood at the empty bar. I finally had to raise my voice to get some attention because my to-go food was sitting on their back counter getting cold. Another night I scheduled a cake to be ready at 6pm. We didn’t get it until at least 6:15pm. Food was forgettable. Drinks were small. Overpriced and underwhelming. Advise driving nearby to find good food at an affordable price. At least it’s not a buffet. Meh.

Went there at 2 pm yesterday. No one greeted us. We found a table and sat down ourselves. Waited for 10 minutes and no one came to serve us. We asked a guy if we should order the food at the counter ourselves. He said he would tell our server to come by. Waited for another 10 minutes and still no one came. We got up and walked out. The guy saw us walking out and did not even care. What a shame!!! Huge disappointment!!!

Skyline seems like a slightly less expensive alternative to the heftily priced dinner buffet over at Bricks. It’s just your standard full service restaurant, with a full bar and made to order menu items. It’s similar to upscale diners you’re probably used to finding in urban areas, with a rather extensive selection of apps, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. I’m afraid my review can only help so much though… I only ordered the steak nachos, which were pretty fantastic(white queso, shredded cheese, seasoned asada, guac). It’s on the appetizer menu, but it’s a pretty big portion that should satiate a serious case of hunger. My wife got the turkey club, which also looked really good. It’s worth mentioning that this place has an excellent selection of draft beer, which I wasn’t expecting to find anywhere on the grounds. Our server was attentive and friendly, especially for the late hour at a kid themed resort. The food is surprisingly decent here, and the décor is in keeping with the whimsical, Lego centric vibe of the entire property. Not a bad place at all to grab dinner while on your Lego vacation!

Pretty decent menu choices, fast service, pretty darn affordable considering the location! Get the seared Ahi when available, big portion with bok choy and jasmine rice for around $ 18. Kids meals provide large portions, my kids are big eaters and there are always leftovers. If you’re lucky you’ll get Genarro as your server, thumbs up!

Service took forever. Way understaffed, food came out cold. Better driving off the resort and going to a local place.

Ok came here on the way to Legoland for lunch since Bricks was closed. The service here is good but the food is average to below average. Calamari and Artichoke appetizer: just ok. Overly deep fried dish, too overdone actually. Contained way more artichoke than calamari. Just average dish. Chicken sandwich: not good at all. Dry chicken with overly mustardy sauce. Didn’t like it all. I also didn’t like the ciabatta bread. No good overall. Turkey club: Hubs ordered this. He thought it was very average. Kids Hotdog: I tasted this and the hot dog was juicy. My son only ate about ¼ of it so if that tells you something. The food is not the best. We were here for convenience so I wasn’t expecting much of anything. Overall 2⁄5 stars.

Ordered nacho and hummus appetizers. Both were delicious. Two tiny things of hummus was not enough for the giant plate of veggies. Veggies were are delicious though. They told me 20min. Walked straight to my room and nachos were soggy. Guessing it had sat for a bit while I waited the 20 min watching my son play :-/

Had dinner after a long day at Legoland and before heading back to LA. OK service but horrible food. Everything was bland and sloppily prepared, including the mac and cheese our son ordered.

So it’s our 13th wedding anniversary so of course we spend the weekend at legoland, how romantic, hahaha. At the hotel and decide to stop in for a beer while waiting for bricks to open for dinner. First of all, not that familiar with the beers they have on tap. So bartender pour 4 samples for us to try before we find what we want. So nice. We start chatting with all the bartenders who are very polite, engaging and professional, but also willing to socialize with us. We are new Merlin pass holders so we had many questions about the park and hotel and they were so helpful and willing to give suggestions and tips. We really enjoyed our time there. And did I mention we just happened to be there on a Monday at 3:15? So we were able to order $ 4 pints both domestic and import. Happy anniversary to us!

Although this is officially called a «Café» but their food is above it. They have huge portions and very tasty(stay away from the kids meal, order a standard meal and have the kids split it instead). The seared scallops was done well(Gordon Ramsey would’ve been proud). The steak was cooked to medium rare and their drinks was excellent. Their sweet potato and crisp cut fries were very good and kids loved it. As mentioned the kids meal was pretty generic so stay away. I ordered the macaroni and cheese; it’s not worth it nor worth bashing them about. I would also stay away from their nachos.

Our waitress was nice. but food was meh, the cheese on the vegetarian, wait, they had meat… I mean like a light sprinkle of meat it mind as well be vegetarian… well anyways the cheese on the nachos got hard so my bf couldn’t even finish it. Everything else was ok. The reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because it took forever to get our check because our waitress dissappeared. The other waitress next to us was giving such great attention and service to her tables that it made us realize our waitress kinda sucked. Near the end of our meal the table next to us had legos bought to their kids. what pissed me off is my son saw all this and when our waitress finally came to give us our boxes, after I waved down another waitress to get our waitress, my son kept telling our waitress he liked legos and was pointing at the legos that the kids next to us were playing with because their waitress had bought it out for them. all she did was just smile and nod. The least she can do is apologize for forgetting or something. So yea, not coming back to this restaurant again. Maybe… just maybe for the drinks but that’s it.

My family have eaten here every time we’ve gone to Legoland(four times now), and I was looking forward to giving them a 5-star review after this visit. But whoa — what did they do to my favorite dish, the Seared Scallops? What used to be a well proportioned dish with decent sized scallops has become an embarrassing shadow of its former self. Please raise the price if you have to, but restore the scallops to their original size and glory. Thank goodness the salmon with risotto is still a wonderful dish, but I can’t give this place a 5-star review until they fix their Seared Scallops dish!

I give this five stars, not because it’s the equivalent of the French Laundry, but for the following reasons: 1) Its not Bricks Restaurant; 2) They have surprisingly good drinks; 3) The fish tacos were quite good; 4) They were sweet enough to get a special dessert for my son from another restaurant; 5) The service was great. For a Legoland Hotel café it exceeded my expectations.

Better than I expected and the prices weren’t inflated like many hotels do. But the prices were right on, and all the more better if you’re a Legoland passholder. 20% off better! Food wise, the menu isn’t too extensive, but they do offer pizzas, pasta, sandwiches, and appetizers. I was pleasantly surprised to see ahi poke. Not so pleasantly was the taste or lack thereof. Fortunately there was soy sauce on the table but that didn’t do much. It’s probably the first time I never finished an ahi poke appetizer! The kids grilled chicken & fries were good. Chicken was slightly chewy on the edges but seasoned well. The cross cross fries were cooked perfectly. They were my favorite indulgence tonight. The bacon mac & cheese was fair. The bacon was a little hard but the cheese was good. The penne Alfredo was also tasty. The hubby really liked it. Service was excellent, particularly from Peaches. She was very friendly and wasn’t even our server. We even came back late night(not really late night, but in terms of The Legoland Hotel, 930pm is cutting it close), we ordered cookies and brownies and she helped us yet again. Skip on the cookies and brownies though. The cookies were hard and the brownies were the cheap cafeteria style ones.

Mixed reviews on this place. GREAT décor and the food was better than the Bricks buffet. BUT they were seriously understaffed! We walked in and tried to find a clean table… LOTS of empty tables but all were dirty. We flagged down one of the servers & the first guy said he will«try» to get one cleaned up. I’m thinking that’s not a great first impression so I will TRY to remember to leave him a tip after our meal! 10 minutes later we were still waiting for a table to get cleaned. A waitress finally came over and cleared one of the tables and got us menus. She was nice enough and was pretty much the only one who looked like she gave a damn… but it didn’t feel like the table was all that clean. But oh well we were starving! Hubby had the burger, my son had Mac & cheese, & I had the turkey sandwich. It did take a while to get our food but my son was entertained by all the mini Lego city scene and all the Lego characters on the walls. Well done on the décor! The food finally came and surprisingly, everything tasted pretty good. But due to the lack of workers, it took a long time to get drinks refilled & our check. Bottom line, they need to work on scheduling more people to work on a weekend! Oh and clean the damn display glass where they have the Lego city scene… I could see all the smears, finger/hand & mouth prints. Germ city! EEWW!

Yikes. I don’t know if I can say they’re understaffed. Maybe 4 other tables at the restaurant. Took 30 minutes for our food. The nachos weren’t hot by the time we got it. Pizza cheese was over cooked and hard and chewy. They forgot the extra sour cream we requested. Nobody could really answer my question regarding how much longer our food was going to take. Our guess was that the chef never made up and everyone else was in the back trying to figure out how to make the food people ordered. Ha! But I gave an extra star for the free dessert we received for the inconvenience. Although, for future reference… It’s always better to give a customer a head’s up if an order is going to be delayed that much. Otherwise, you’re in for some really cranky and hungry diners!

We ate lunch here after checking out of the Legoland Hotel and before heading home. I’m so glad we skipped eating inside the park to eat here instead! The food was excellent(I had the turkey club, my husband had a burger and the kids has nachos), the service was great, and they had BEER! If you’ve been to Legoland before and found yourself wishing for beer, you’ll understand why that meant so much to us :) I also really loved the sweet potato fries and dipping sauce that came with them. It was pretty quiet in there during lunch since everyone was having fun at Legoland, so it was a great time to go! We will definitely dine here again whether we stay at the hotel or not(I think it’s worth leaving the park briefly for lunch here if you aren’t staying at the hotel!)

We stayed at the Legoland Hotel and ate dinner at the Skyline Café last night. The décor(mini figures along the walls, a whole Lego«skyline» for the kids to explore) completely enthralled my children while my husband and I chatted and relaxed. The restaurant was fairly empty compared to the Bricks Buffet right across the hall in the Legoland Hotel; which is pretty sad considering the relative quality of the food. The Skyline Café may cost more, but I’d take quality over quantity any day. I ordered the Blackened Seared Ahi and my husband had the scallops. I order Ahi whenever I get the chance and am very picky about it. This was one of the best rare Ahi steaks I have ever eaten; I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfectly prepared; pink and tender on the inside and well seasoned on the crispy outside. I asked our server to please compliment the chef, which I rarely do. My kids’ meals were fine(mac n cheese/chicken tenders) — nothing dazzling, but they were totally satisfied. My husband said his scallops were amazing. I also ordered a dirty martini. Great bartender. He did the cocktail justice. We are Legoland pass holders and my family and I plan to eat here often.

Nachos were bad(cheese was barely melted). The sandwiches were mediocre. We ordered a meal for our son and it only came with a hamburger, no fries or anything. On top of that … the place probably had 5 other table of people and they took about 45 minutes to bring out our food. The drinks were very watered down also. I was not happy and went to my hotel room and I was pretty pissed for what we paid(I think it was about $ 50-$ 60) and it wasn’t even a complete meal!

This place has a lot to offer as a kid friendly eatery. I stopped in with my 5 year old for a bit to eat. in side tip: Ask the waiter for legos to play with when you seat down(free to play during your meal). The colors and energy level are great but service was only soso. I would put the experience on par with other average hotel lunch places.
