I come here to see Julie for my nails. She does great work for a great price! I get acrylic overlay will gel polish or sometimes just gel and they always last over 3 weeks! She has all the fun new colors and glitters. I highly recommend her ;)

Want a quaint salon with unpretentious stylists? Remember what that’s like? I love this place. I get wonderful color; cut; hi-​lites and lo-​lites with great styling too. Rates are reasonable. Ample parking. And Mark Young always outdoes himself with his devotion to my style and color and plays the best music ever! Seriously its my all-​time favorite salon and I’ve lived in this area since 1971.

I went in today for the first time for highlights by Jamie. She did a great job. Modest but nice salon in a great location, reasonable price. Jamie gave me what I wanted, and I went back to work looking nice. What more could I want? Jamie is my new go-​to hair stylist.

Needed to find a new hairdresser now that I’m in Carlsbad, and happened to walk by this place right in the heart of the Village, near Grand and Roosevelt. It looked clean and neat and there were lots of windows so you can look out at the trees when you’re inside.
I called and made an appt with the owner, Donna, and went this morning for a shampoo and style. Donna is a tiny, adorable person, who bought this business a couple of years ago. The shop is small but well organized, and clean.
She is fun to talk to and gave me a great shampoo and straight blow dry. Usually new hairdressers have trouble getting my hair the way I like it, but Donna aced it the first time.
This is such a great location. Right down the street from the Grand St Deli, right around the corner from my favorite antique shop, Classic Consignment. Right in the middle of everything.
Donna’s fast and efficient and I hope she gets lots of business so she’s here to stay!

I was very pleased with the haircut I received from Donna at Sea Waves Salon in Carlsbad Village. She was very personable and attentive to the way I wanted it done. The rest of the staff there was also very pleasant to me; in particular Julie, the woman that does the nails. I will definitely go back again!
