I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mark and Victor and their whole crew. We bought a home in La Costa and had a 3 day window to get the interior painted and the carpet installed before we needed to move in. Mark did a great job of coordinating the efforts so that everything would get done. We got the keys at 4pm on a Monday and his guys got there at 5pm to start prepping the house and even started painting that night. They finished all of the ceilings that night. We were very pleased with the work they performed. Several days after moving in, we found a leak and had to do a demo of our master bath/​bedroom walls. After construction, the crew came back twice to make sure that the new walls were painted and the touchups were done to our liking. Mark is extremely professional, excellent at scheduling and his guys really want to make sure that the client is 100% happy. I will be using them again in a few months to paint the exterior of my home. I HIGHLY recommend their services.

Mark and Victor did a stellar job for us. We refurbished a 3 unit triplex in Carlsbad and they did both the interior and exterior for a very reasonable price, much lower than the other bids received. The materials used were high quality, they showed up when promised and made great recommendations on how to get the most bang for our buck. We liked then so much we are using them on our next project scheduled in 2015.

This service was easy to use. Mark does all the follow up work. He was communicative and reasonably priced. He did good work and was proud of it. It’s hard to explain how much Mark goes the extra mile. I never had to work hard to get a hold of him. He worked extra hard to meet my scheduling needs. I had a small painting job. I first called a handyman thinking it would be more affordable. I was very wrong. Then I called ProTeck and a few other painters. They came out and looked over the area and offered suggestions. The price was exactly what I was hoping for. The others were $ 200 more. Victor called me later the same day and said he could do the job the following day. He bought the paint I had chosen and a wood stain. He was prompt and courteous and showed up with another painter. I had a flood in my house and the drywall had to be removed. ProTect Painters and owner Mark Strazzeri was the only choice for us. Mark’s team had painted the outside of my 3 story house 2 years ago. After that excellent job, there was no question that I would use them again.
The job was done quickly and attention to detail was excellent. Mark was there daily to check on work, communication with us was great.
Only one floor was affected but everything looked so fabulous that expand the job and had the 2 other floors done. Mark was able to fit it into his schedule and all work was finished in record time. I felt the cost of the job was very fair, the team was there on the scheduled time, and cleaned up every night before they left. They put in a full days work every day until the job was done.

Mark’s team painted the exterior stucco of my single story small home. I’m super pleased with the preparation, quality, coverage, and very competitive price. I wanted attention to detail and got it! He even inspected the work! My ugly house is now a nice home. The neighbors are even commenting. I love it!

My wife and I contacted Mark Strazzeri, the owner of ProTect Painters, to have our apartment repainted white before we moved out. The apartment complex gave us a quote that was too high so we contacted Mark. He was very curteous and said he could give us a quote that day. He stopped by and we showed him what we wanted. He was very forthcoming and gave us a quote that day, almost 500 dollars cheaper than any other estimate we had received. He worked directly with the aparment complex to make sure he used their brand of paint to prevent any mistakes or rework for us. In the end, his staff came in exactly at their budget and completed the project early. They even came back out when we requested additional work (on two seperate occassions). They were incredibly helpful, respectfully, and professional and it was a great pleasure having them work for us.

Okay, I have a house in Encinitas that is tenant occupied. I obtained 4 quotes from reputable companies, and Mark’s was the most competitive and he had the best communication. Time passed, and I didn’t make a decision. Whereas the other contractors stopped calling to follow-​up, Mark would continue to follow up every once and a while with absolutely no pressure. I finally gave him the go, and I am completely satisfied and happy. He dealt with the HOA, and matched existing colors perfectly. Mark was also involved with color options had I chosen to change the color. As I mentioned before, his communication skills are excellent. At all times he remained in communication with me and the tenant. I always felt like I was being taken care of. His crew finished the project; the house looks absolutely beautiful, the tenants loved him, I enjoyed working with him, and I HIGHLY recommend Pro Tect Painters and Mark. He walked around the property with us to check out our home. He then took the time to speak with us, at length, about a time frame for painting the house, different types of paint and various color suggestions. He was so helpful, and professional. He made us feel important. We were very comfortable throughout the entire process. The painters (Victor was the head painter) were very friendly, hard-​working and they did a wonderful job on our home exterior. They also cleaned up after themselves and made sure that everything was put back where it belonged. When they were finished, we had a «brand new» home.
