Pretty Please

Store has an extremely strict policy when it comes to defective merchandise. Purchased leggins, wore them once and they became fuzzy and unraveled at the top. Store manager would not exchange them. I had receipt and tags. Purchased exactly one month ago. Manager would not make exception. I have purchased many items from this boutique over the years, and all of it has held up nicely. However, when something doesn’t stand past one normal days use, you would think they could exchange the faulty product, return it to their vendor for a credit, or refund on their end. They just lost my business and my referrals. will no I’m certain they will continue to do just fine. Just know when you legitimately have defective product, they stand by their store policies– They won’t do the right thing.

Do yourself a favor and don’t shop here, HORRIBLE customer service! I bought a dress to wear for my baby shower. Red Flag #1, their CC machine was broken and had to use the old school 1980’s imprint dinosaur machine and take an imprint of my card. This didn’t make me comfortable, but whatevs. It took 3 girls to figure out what to do and I left with my copy from the machine. 2 weeks later I come back to return the dress and they won’t take it back. I have no official receipt just a copy of the imprint they gave me as my receipt, tags still on, never worn dress, still wrapped in their tissue paper and bag. She says i’m beyond the 5 day return period — what? I have no copy of a return policy! Your CC was broke and this is what you gave me with no policy printed on it. Nothing mentioned at time of purchase. (+who the hell only has a 5 day return policy?) I ask her to make an exception, given this is their fault to begin with, how was I suppose to even KNOW of their return policy if I don’t have a copy of it. I’d settle for store credit, exchange, SOMETHING, i’m a reasonable person. She says she has to call her manager for approval. I say fine, expecting a refund cause surely the manager will see how inconvenient this is. She and comes back say «sorry we can’t help you. No refund no store credit» Are you for real? Your CC machine breaks and I was not provided any sort of policy, then don’t even help me with a store credit for a brand new dress with tags on. WTF KIND OF PLACE IS THIS! I tell the girl this is crazy (not blaming her), she has to at least understand where i’m coming from and how shady this is. «Honestly not really.» Then points me to a sign BEHIND the register, behind a jewelry display mixed in with 3 other signs with fine print that reads the return policy, which lets be real, you can’t expect people to even see or read. Someone should have told me especially given the original broken circumstance. Long story short, filed a dispute with my CC company for this garbage of a place. So instead of choosing to give me a refund or store credit and make me happy/​repeat customer, they will pay approx. double in fees than what they would have given me. This is why places like this go to the shitter, cause bad customer service and horrible policies. Will never shop here again and will spread the word. Suit yourself.

Stopped in here because I had a gift card and immediately fell in love. It’s located in a strip mall across from the Carlsbad outlets. There was plenty of parking.
It’s a women’s clothing store and the clothes are arranged according to color. So fun! They have lots of trendy, flattering, fun tops, maxi skirts, and dresses. They have some jeans and shorts and plenty of accessories. They have an abundance of camis, tube tops, etc in every color you can imagine and reasonably priced.
My favorite part of this store is the employees. They are welcoming, chatty, and not salesy or pushy. I can’t wait to go back to buy a few more tube tops in more colors. If I need a cute top or outfit this will be my new «go to» store.

I just had the best shopping experience here! I have come here a few times before, but Michele’s service was great! She was so helpful and so genuine! I found things on sale and regular price that I love and I’m so happy with my purchase! If you shop here, hopefully Michele H is working when you do!

Walked in to look around. The girl was on the phone with someone regarding the state of the business. She saw me and chose not to say hello or postpone her conversation to greet me. I overheard her conversation while I was browsing. She was chatting with who I assume was her boss/​owner or co-​worker. She was discussing sales of only $ 2500 per day and how she hopes people will start coming in and shopping. She then went on to say that she had no customers ALL while I was inside the store. That was enough for me! Seems if you are hurting that much for customers you could begin by acknowledging customers that are in your store. If you are the owner /​manager of the store this sales girl needs some HELP, TRAINING or maybe a new job where she can be on the phone rather than help customers. If you are a customer or potential customer I would suggest spending your money where you can be treated politely or at least greeted! Cute clothes — TERRIBLE experience!

I just purchased a jumpsuit and pair of really cute turquoise high waisted shorts from here everything was well priced and not expensive. The lady that owns the store is extremely nice and helpful. Normally in small stores they are very pushy but she was not all she gave us our space but was there when we needed help ! Would love to come back here again.

Love the clothes, but customer service and training are needed for the staff! I had to wait almost 20 minutes just to buy a pair of jeans because the woman didn’t know how to work the register. What’s worse is that the manager who finally emerged from the back room didn’t even offer assistance so that I might be on my way (on my 30 min break). I almost left without the jeans because I was running out of time and needed to get back to work! Great clothes, but if you can’t work the register so that I can buy them, what’s the point?

Giving Pretty Please an upgrade. They have fewer pants with the dreaded «butt bling» which is fine for some, but not my thing. I also noticed just how much I wear the tops and dresses I have bought there over the years and how many compliments I get on them. They also get new stuff all the time. Just writing this makes me think I need to get back in there.

My GF loves this place, I went in to buy some clothes and jewelery and the girls in here were AWESOME! They helped me pick out jeans, tops, and some jewelery and I had the best experience there and I got some good loving from my GF thanks to the girls at Pretty Please Definitely Recommend going in

I used to shop so frequently and told all my friends about it that the old manager gave me 20%off every time. I recently went by to return a hat 11days after purchase and they gave me a hard time. New manager I don’t know but she wasn’t helpful when I was trying to find something to exchange it for (at least she let me exchange) the return policy is a joke. Prices have gone up a lot over the past year or two, but not the quality. Not my fav little place anymore too bad…

I was introduced to this place by a woman I work with and ended up totally loving it!
Pros:
* Very nice selection with a variety of styles
* Garments are generally hung according to color. So you need a red dress? It’s right over there next to the blues and yellows! =)
* Friendly staff. The women are always friendly and helpful in non-​pushy way. I went in looking for a birthday dress and the sales girl and I just had a nice time, chit chatting away.
* Very cute jewelry. Lots of different necklaces and rings.
* THEIR SALES ARE AMAZING!!!
* Not a ‘teeny bopper’ type of place. You won’t find the annoying highschool groups of girls here. I’d say age 25+ clientele.
Cons:
* Pricey when compared to sale prices… which to me says the mark up is a little high. You could go in looking for one simple dress and easily spend over $ 60. Example: Simple black dress — no frills, no lace, no bows, etc. = ~$ 55.00. You can find that at Charlotte Russe for half that! Better to wait for sales at this place and then use the extra money on the jewelry ;)
* This place is a little small. Expect to mingle.
* Dressing rooms have no locks or latches. its just a curtain. Be careful if there are kids running around.
* They don’t sell any shoes — not even basic flats.
Overall I love this place. It’s cute, friendly, girly, and has lots to pick from. Just try it! =)

Absolutely LOVE this place!!! Clothes are darling, reasonably priced and customer service is fabulous! Kiki and Hannah were great, and also extremely kind and professional — while I was there a rude lady was attempting to return a stained dress with no tag (seriously? Who does that?) and they were calm, kind and professional. Just bought two amazing dresses that I can’t wait to wear — they carry unique items you can’t get anywhere else.

I have visited this boutique numerous times and I can proudly say that it is the best boutique I have ever visited, always great sale items and a great selection from A to Z! Not to mention super friendly staff!

I love this place! I discovered it early this year when I got my job right next to this place (thank goodness)!
The girls who work here are so sweet! They aren’t pushy like a lot of the girls are at little boutique shops.
There is an amazinnggggggg!!! Sale rack outside usually at all times and a lot of the items are only $ 10! I’ve found some really adorable things on that rack.
I love stopping in here before I start my shift, it’s really worth a look!

Cute clothes, fairly reasonable prices for a boutique. Bad return policy. I tried to return something two weeks after I bought it and hadn’t noticed on the receipt you can only return within the first few days. They gave me store credit. I am on their list, but have never received emails, coupons, or a note as someone else has mentioned.

My aunt brought me to this store-​which makes me laugh that we have the same taste although we’re 20ish years apart. This being said, my aunt is a hottie and dresses well… RHofLaCostaCanyon well ;)
I found a lot of pieces I liked and spent a lot of time say «Oh, I like this! I can wear this at…» I purchased a one shoulder metallic silver dress that was worn for a bachlorette party in Las Vegas. I also purchased a pair of earring that I wore to a dinner. They change the store up a lot, so you’re never walking into the store in the same layout. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
I can spend my entire paycheck here.

Great little boutique with tons of stuff!
Very reasonable price points, really great selection of all types of stuff from casual to dressy.
They also have a great variety of accessories.
Even though the place is small and they have quite a bit of merchandise, I really like that it’s color coordinated so it’s easier to find things.
The staff is very friendly and suggestive but yet not pushy.
Def worth dropping in to check them out and a good alternative to the mall:-)
