Born and raised in Carlsbad California, entrepreneur Scott Sullivan honed his electrical skills for 12 years. He then decided it was time to open his own full service electrical contracting business. Scott attended Associated Builders and Contractors and graduated in 2009 after four years of specialized training in the trade.

We recently had some electrical issues in our house. The ceiling fan/​light in our kitchen and closet ceiling light were not working. My husband tried locating the problem, but after finding unsafe exposed wires in the attic, we new it was time to call an electrician. A friend of ours recommended Power Electrical, so we called and Scott was at our house withing an hour. He assessed the situation and completely re-​did the wiring in the attic to our ceiling fan due to how unsafe it was. I was so impressed with Scott’s knowledge and professionalism. He explained what the issue was and had our best interest at heart. We will definitely be using Power Electrical again!

A good friend recommended Scott from Power Electrical when we were looking to make a few upgrades to our home — new ceiling fan outlets, wiring, etc. Scott worked his tail off getting things just right — and not a single complaint when the inevitable obstacles were encountered. We really appreciated that he made every effort to minimize impact on existing drywall when running wire; definitely made our lives easier when it came to doing a bit of patching. On top of all that, Scott is a good guy — shows up on time, does the job, prices his work fairly. I enjoyed learning as he went along; he didn’t appear to get bothered by my questions or my bad jokes. Definitely recommend Power Electrical and Scotty.

I have Scott out 3 times now. His pries are reasonable. He is responsive. But best of all, he is a very good electrician. He has replaced hard wired lights in my garage, cleaned up unsafe wiring, moved switches, replaced outlets and wired a doorbell for me. He is very considerate and neat. I will call him again when I need to and highly recommend.

We had some work done on our house and the wiring to the lights and fans were all screwed up. Not only did things not function correctly but I was worried our house might burn down. We really needed an excellent electrician. Scott was recommended by our friend who is a contractor. He was wonderful to work with and everything looks great and works perfectly. I came home the other day to the lights and fans not working in my house. The next morning i called several electricians on Unilocal and no one answered. Scott from Power Electrical answered and got to my house within an hour! Extremely professional and highly knowledgeable on his trade. In no time everything was fixed and at a fare price. I will definitely be calling Power Electrical if i need any more work done.
