History

Established in 1990.

Sheri has owned Polished Images Salon in suite G1 at 6120 Paseo Del Norte for 23 years. With a highly trained and experienced staff, Polished Images Salon is one of the well respected salons in the area. Sheri has made it a priority to give back to the community that supports her business by often offering products and services to charities and organizations for their fundraising efforts.

Karen Knudson was absolutely amazing! I made an appointment at a very late notice and she was wonderfully accommodating. I live in Texas, but if I were local, she would be my go to gal! I adore having a stylist help me find the best look, and she was most certainly an advisor. Kuddos!

Happened to be in town and picked Polished Images for a trim based on the great reviews here. I was not disappointed with my choice!
Denise took the time to understand how my hair is normally styled, where my heavy spots of hair are that cause me to have little body, etc. She was thorough and knew her stuff about providing an excellent layered cut for my long hair.
She was a sweetheart and pleasure to talk to. She gave me tips for getting my hair styled just the way I like it, without tons of product. I have had $ 200 hair cuts in LA that were not this good– the cut is great, the styling is soft and breezy how I like it. I wish I lived here to come back more often!

I have been going to Polished Images for about 25 years now. My mother, mother-​in-​law and twin daughters have also been regular customers of the salon over the years.
I cannot say enough good things about the salon and the women who work there. Everyone is so nice and so friendly. My family members and myself have been really happy with the services they provide. We have all had haircuts, hair color, manicures and pedicures and been very happy with the results.
Sheri Webb, the owner of the salon has been doing my nails for at least 20 years. We have developed a wonderful friendship over the years and I look forward to my appointments with her every two weeks. Sheri is an amazing business woman and extremely professional in how she runs her business.
I highly recommend trying out Polished Images!

I’ve been going to Polished Images for a few years. I LOVE it! The décor is ultra modern and it is just a warm friendly place to be. I look forward to my nail appointment with owner, Sherri Webb. She is a professional in every way. I am usually coming from my workout and she always keeps me supplied with water. So thoughtful. She always has the latest nail colors for me to try. You should see what I have on my toes right now, a hip orange number that pops. I’m getting lots of compliments.
All the employees in this salon are at the top of their game. I have personal knowledge of Karen’s skill as a stylist and make up artist. She will make you look like a movie star. I always watch the work that the stylists and nail technicians do as I find it fascinating. They are really good. They are right by the outlet mall and Tip Top Meats so check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

You really cannot go wrong here. The staff is friendly and highly-​skilled. I’ve been going to Sheri for many years (she is the owner and one of the manicurists). The salon has a welcoming and lovely atmosphere, as well as a convenient location. I’m happy to be a regular client here!

I was visiting for a week and decided a vacation was the perfect time to treat myself to a pedicure. Luckily, Shari was able to fit me in, and WOW, what a treat! She was a joy to visit with and gave me a wonderful pedicure, exactly what I needed. Now I wish I lived here because I would happily be a regular!

Got a gift certificate. Used it one time for a pedicure. It was mediocre at best. Used it again for a gel manicure. The removal destroyed my nails. I would not recommend them!

I had an amazing cut done at Polished Images by Melanie. I was in New York for a year and did not trust anyone else to do my hair, so I was in desperate need of a cut. Melanie had cut my hair a year prior and was great about getting me in ASAP to get my grown out locks taken care of. I had even taken scissors to my own hair while in New York because I couldn’t take the dead ends and Melanie flawlessly blended my mess into a beautiful cut! Melanie is also extremely personable and remembered details about my life from a year prior, that’s the kind of relationship you want to have with your stylist and I’m so glad I finally found someone I trust. Thanks Melanie!

I tried this salon and spa because j was looking for a one stop shop. I liked amber who cut my hair a few times but apparently she has since moved on. I was unimpressed with the spa. To me, this is not a spa. You can hear everything that people in the other areas of the space are saying and it is not relaxing at all. The facial room is outdated and the ceiling was hideous to look at. Again, not the relaxing spa environment I was looking for. The esthetician I saw, Haley, was nice but I was unimpressed with they eyebrow wax she did. I had to go home and pluck the rest of the hairs she missed both times! I also felt like their facial products were not high end. No visible dewiness or fresh feeling when I left. My quest for the one stop shop continues…

Melanie, the colorist I went to at Polished Images has a lot to learn about courtesy. I was referred to her by a wonderful friend who would be appalled at the way Melanie
‘brushed me off’. Completely unprofessional and as you see, I’m very much the businesswoman and have yet to know the reason why she didn’t return my 13 phone messages begging her to call me back so I could have my black roots touched up. She is a good colorist and her price is very fair and she probably has more than enough business if she’s able to be so rude to so many people, but there’s no excuse for treating someone rudely when all they need is an explanation why so they understand and apologize if that’s in order. I’d like to say it was all about me, but the next colorist
doing my hair refused to do it after I told her what happened with Melanie. It seems she knows her and said she has a very bad temper and didn’t want to get mixed up with Melanie! All I can say is ‘Buyer Beware’ because we girls count on these relationships for maintenance and to just ignore a client is absolutely beyond rude.

I took my daughter in to get a polished up look. Her hair was done by Vanessa. She was so friendly and patient. She did the best job, my daughter was so happy. Will definitely be back. Great location and parking. They are also great with accommodating after hours!!!

I finally had a chance to get a massage, facial and 30 min in the sauna and it was very relaxing. Everything was wonderful. I will defiantly go back again. I have only had one other facial but this one really agreed with my sensitive skin. I was given some nice chai tea as I filled out my paperwork. It is a nice dark soothing atmosphere. Everyone was very professional but relaxed.

What an elegant haircut! Amber saved my hair before a recent holiday party. I know a lot of women who go to her for color (and what a bevy of gorgeous brunettes they are, come to think of it), but I have been for cuts only. She is incredibly skilled, and an excellent communicator; it wasn’t hard for her to «get» what I wanted and didn’t want. As for color, I hear that her prices are incredibly reasonable for the «regulars» who go to her for color and who need frequent root touch-​ups. I will be sending my mom to her, as we’re new in town. Good find.

I just discovered Polished Images and fell in love with both the salon and the spa! It’s such a relaxing environment with a friendly staff! I recently had the Keratin treatment done with April and she did an amazing job! She was friendly, attentive and my hair came out beautiful! What used to take me 35⁄40 minutes to blow dry and straighten my hair, now takes me 15⁄20 and comes out better than before. I’ve also gotten my eyebrows waxed with Kathy in the spa and she was equally as friendly and attentive as April. Kathy took her time and made sure it was a calming environment. I would also recommend booking the sauna while you are there, it’s not like the wet saunas where you feel like you can’t breath, it’s relaxing and easy to stay in for a good amount of time. I can’t wait to try out more of the services Polished Images has provided as it has yet to disappoint!

Polished Images has been my nail salon of choice since 1990!
It is a full service hair and nail salon, friendly and experienced
staff. Sheri Webb (the owner) is very kind and attentive, she’s the best.
She opened the Day Spa next door a few years ago, the Zen felling
is immediate when you walk through the door. I have had many
types of treatments there, all positive! My favorite is the Couples Massage,
relaxing with wine, cheese and fruit. This spa is Carlsbad’s best
Kept secret.

I took advantage of April’s $ 99 cut and highlight. While the cut was well done, I feel April was more concerned about promoting her music career than she was about my highlight. I sat with foils on for nearly an hour while she discussed her music career with another client next to me. Additionally, she must have double booked, because while my hair was getting fried, she had another client come in for a hair cut. I have never complained about my hair before, after all, its just hair. But her unprofessionalism and lack of courtesy, was inexusable. Thank you to Karla at FANTASTIC SAMS for fixing my bleached out hair. April, good luck with your music career… You are clearly more passionate about it than doing hair.

I’ve been going to TC at Polished Images to get my hair done for years. She always listens to me, does a great job, and makes sure that I like how it looks. I’d recommend her and the salon to anyone and I already recommend it to everyone I know. In addition to hair they also do nails here and they have another entire space dedicated to a spa. It’s a great, friendly place to get your hair done and it’s not stuffy at all.
