Josef Oszuscik Master Piano Tuner

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Josef. I am a local piano teacher and he has tuned my piano for several years. He is truly a master tuner, with tons of experience tuning for impressive clients around the country. He is good to our local piano community with fair rates and top notch work. He worked on a new Kawai upright that I had, and he now works on my heirloom Steinway grand. He tunes many of my students’ pianos too, and everyone loves him. He really makes pianos sing beautifully. And he is such a delightful person to get to know!

Amazing Piano Tuner to the STARS! I had a friend coming to visit who is currently a piano student at the Juilliard School so I needed a well-​tuned piano. I got way more than I ever expected. Josef Oszuscik has even worked with Joseph Pramberger, the maker of my piano! Josef is highly skilled at his job and very personable. I enjoyed talking with him about his experience training and working for Steinway Co. and at the Julliard School. He also has fascinating stories working with of all the famous artists he’s tuned pianos for such as Evgeny Kissin, Andre Watts, Sarah McLachlan, Elton John, Harry Connick Jr., and Elvis Presley just to name a few. I just copied this impressive list from the specialties section to his photos in Unilocal,so it’s easier to find! My friend visiting from Juilliard agreed that our piano sounded great after Josef tuned it! I highly recommend his piano service! Another interesting fact I have to mention is that when Josef is not working on pianos, he’s he’s training and running in marathons across the country!

Josef has been tuning my piano for over 10 years. I have a very high end grand piano. I have taught for over 30 years and perform professionally. I have never had a better tuner. His credentials are amazing, and he is very skilled, personable, prompt, and as friendly as they get. He is always thorough and has been trained by Steinway. He is detailed in doing any adjustments that the piano would need to sound it’s best. Other piano tuners I have dealt with in my life have been quite unethical. He is VERY ethical, honest and has fair pricing; especially considering his level of skill and training. HIGHLY recommend!
