Jazzercise Carlsbad Fitness Center

Instructors are great and you get a fantastic workout to upbeat, high-​energy music. I have been going to Jazzercise for over 15 years and am still not tired of it. That said, I only gave 4 stars to this review because of the air conditioning. I’m no air conditioning technician but it does not seem to be working very well. I attended the 9:30 am class on 8÷15÷15 and the temp was 76 degrees (according to the thermostat). That is just too high for a hot day like that with over 40 people crammed into that space. It was so hot the floor was wet from condensation and everyone’s sweat. Please get the air conditioning looked at!

Jazzercize La Costa is my favorite place to be. It’s like a daytime dance club with no drama just jamming out to techno with the hottie girl friends and great grandmas. He-​hee

This is so much fun! The hour just flies by. I can’t get enough. I only wish there were more classes in the PM for us that don’t get home till after 7.
This is a fantastic way to manage your over all health and weight.

I’m at 125 classes for the year at La Costa — I could swear it should be 150, but it’s all computerized. I’m not saying it feels like draggy work, but I know I logged 30 classes in 37 days (missed 8 days for a family vacation) during another incentive period, and haven’t slacked off the pace that much. Kind of surprised I kept it up without the pressure of holding up my end of the partnership in this latest contest… well, it wasn’t a competition (we got 3^rd!). The goal was to complete 60 classes total between two people in 61 days. My partner had 10 years on me and usually attended only 3 days/​wk., but she really stepped it up.
I’m still seeing improvement in my cardio, and I regained the muscles in my calves which I used to hate until they disappeared. Just have to work on my poker face — I guess some teachers have read some criticism on it when I think they are taking a break while the rest of us are hopping around like crazy.

The La Costa and Carlsbad Center are fantastic!!! This is NOT the Jazzercise of the 80’s. It’s hip and fun and you will get a great work-​out. No joke.
