David Conlin took advantage of the teachers at my wife’s school by selling them a high cost plan with high fees, high«expense ratio» funds, and lying about their tax benefits. He frequently calls to harass us about investing more while refusing to answer basic questions. He has failed metlife’s own testing(series 65) and provides just terrible advice. He talks about other companies taking advantage of people while all the whole playing games and selling the funds that return the highest commission to him. His is ONLY trying to get as much money in fees for himself as possible without providing any meaningful investment management or advise. Avoid him and the Metlife funds /plans he offers at all costs … and that cost is straight out of your pocket and into his! He is dishonest to the point of violating his ethical obligations and fiduciary duties; all this to take advantage of public elementary school teachers. Shameless and predatory, this«advisor» is the last place to look for real financial advice. Check the boglehead forums if you’re interested in simple investment advice for free and to avoid cost traps like those pushed by Dave Conlin.
