Carlsbad Village Family Practice

We have been coming here for over 8 years and have always been happy with level of care we receive, both doctors are genuine, knowledgable and very caring with great bedside manners. They are great with follow up, they both have called us personally to go over lab result with us or check on us after an illness. They always have their patients best interest in mind. We highly recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Etadeli is great. She takes time with her patients and is really about preventative care. She’ll follow up with results whether it’s good news or bad news — which is great as some Physicians only call when it’s bad news, and you never get the chance to ask other questions.
The practice is nice, clean and new. The staff is average enough, but always considerate.
My husband is a patient here as well and Dr. Ajir is his Physician. He likes him as well and is helping him bring down his cholesterol naturally vs. shoving a pill in his face first! He encourages healthy eating, exercise and weight loss (obvious, yes), but still great encouragement and helpful for preventative medicine.

Very good doctor. Took the time to care. I will make him my primary. I’m very happy I found him. Both me and my wife will be seeing them as our docs for now on.

The first visit with Dr. E was good. Subsequent visits went downhill promptly. She didn’t review my chart, spent the time I was in there suggesting I get tests that I’d already gotten and that she’d received the results for!
And forget getting an appointment. I’ve waited three months each time I wanted to see her.
In my opinion, she spends all the time talking so that you can’t get any questions answered and then she’s out the door. The clincher for me was when she was going to give me two prescriptions. Her aide gave me only one. When I asked about it I was told she was with another patient and I’d have to wait in the waiting room for her to finish. Or a message would be left for her and she would call me. No call ever came (it’s been almost two months now). In one visit, she tells me one thing, then in the next it’s the complete opposite. She doesn’t pay attention to her charts. Nor does she listen. I’m switching back to my other doctor. I have to drive farther, but totally worth it!

What a wonderful beautiful practice. I needed to do for a physical and am so glad to have found these doctors. From the minute I walked in, I was treated with respect and my every query answered. I was worried I’d never find a good kind doctor like my GP back home in South Africa. I need not worry. Dr Ajir has exceeded my expectations. His staff are professional and friendly. And the shot I got was virtually painless. Thank goodness!!!
Thank you for calming my nerves and treating me with respect even though I was super crazy about getting shots. I have definitely found my new doctors!!!

I moved to America 4 years ago, and am leaving in 6 months back to my home country.
One drawback? I had finally found a great doctor. Dr Etedali follows through on everything. She has been the best Dr I’ve ever had. Dr Ajir is very good also. I’ve seen him from time to time when Dr Etedali is booked up. Great clinic.

The search is over for my new physician! Finally, I found Dr. Mahyar Ajir. He made me feel confident and provided information I did not get with my previous doctor. I trust that I will be on a speedy recovery through the care of Dr Ajir… He is really easy to talk to.
