Carlsbad Paddle Club offers a wide variety of fitness styles, all integrated with a stand up paddleboard, to achieve the ultimate workout experience. The benefit of using a stand up paddle board (SUP) is its ability to be a low impact full body workout. Being on the water will improve balance and coordination, as well as tone and strengthen core muscles, all while enjoying our Southern California weather.

All of our instructors are professionally trained and certified. We keep current on all the latest and most successful workout techniques. From Yoga, Pilates, TRX to SUP training, we offer a fusion of fitness every day to meet our client’s individual need. We believe balance is the key to maintaining a healthy life. Our mission is to create a fun and safe environment for our client to reach and surpass their individual goals. Carlsbad Paddle Club will challenge each patron on a physical, mental and spiritual level to achieve strength, flexibility, and awareness on and off the water.

History

Established in 2013.

The Carlsbad Paddle Club opened their doors on May 6th 2013. Their goal is to provide a great place for fitness the Southern California Way. They offer a variety of classes al revolving around Stand Up Paddleboarding. They offer something for everyone. Classes range from simple Stand Up Paddleboard technique, SUP Yoga, SUP Pilates, TRX, Core Training etc. No matter what your fitness goals the Carlsbad Paddle Club can help you achieve them. What better way to get in shape then out on the water or on their private beach.

Meet the Business Owner

Caitlin C.

Business Owner

Caitlin was intrigued with body mechanics at a very young age. She began working as a physical therapy aide at the age of 15. She began her physical therapy studies at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Life moved Caitlin to San Diego where she obtained her B.S. in Kinesiology with emphasis in Physical Therapy from California State University San Marcos. Caitlin enrolled in Pilates training in 2010 where she learned the deep connection and rehabilitative benefits of Pilates. Caitlin’s keen eye for movement, ability to make accurate modifications and encouraging approach ensure her clients get the most of each session. Utilizing a stand up paddle board allows for a unique experience that will challenge clients on both a physical and neuromuscular level. Caitlin practiced Pilates throughout two pregnancies and has seen firsthand the benefits and results of this method of training. When she is not in the studio, Caitlin enjoys being a full-​time mother of two!
