Wonderful service with wonderful results! The staff is very friendly. I had a lot of questions because it was my first time. They took their time to thoroughly answer all my questions and make me feel comfortable.

Avalon laser is amazing. I was visiting San Diego for a wedding and had some down time. I needed a facial bad, I was recommended from a local friend to get my facial here. I suffer from rosacea and the custom facial was perfect for my condition in fact it made it less noticeable after my facial. The staff was very professional and I have never felt so comfortable in an office before. Thank you for the best facial I have ever had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I went in for my acne scarring to see Dr. Tirgari, just to get a consultation. I thought I would hear the same suggestion to get a laser treatment done, which is not meant for my skin tone and skin type. Thankfully, he was the first dermatologist that I have met to suggest a different course of treatment. Dr. T suggested I get a chemical peel first (Salicylic/​Jessner) before I do a 3 course series of the derma pen. I usually don’t commit to things so quickly by Dr. T is/​was very confident that I will have «perfect skin by the holiday». I really hope so! I was pretty worried about doing the whole course of action since my skin is really sensitive and prone to breakouts. I got my chemical peel done in the beginning of October by Hillary, who explained the whole process and was very supportive before, during and well after the treatment. Hillary has been and continues to be the rock during my treatment. She’s so positive, up beat, gentle and knows what she’s doing :). When I’m freaking out about how my skin is reacting (your skin may be different) she has answered my questions very quickly and thoroughly. After my chemical peel I did have a few bumps arise here and there and that was because my skin was purging all of the gross things that it had stored. The whole peeling process afterwards took about ⁵⁄₆ days. I looked presentable after the first ¾ days. Just so you can plan accordingly. 2 weeks after my chemical peel I had my first dermapen appointment and it went well. Immediately after you look really red and the next day you look like you have been sunburnt. The 2^nd day I was still red but definitely a lot less. I use the tinted sun screen that they sell at Avalon. My skin is definitely seeing results, but it’s a slow and steady process so keep that in mind :). Also, you have to make sure you also take care of your skin, during and after the procedure.
So far, I have had a good experience. I am really hoping my experience will remain positive for the next two visits I will have with dermapen. I’ll keep you all posted :)
P. S. I have referred my brother and mom to see Dr. T and team as well so hopefully they can see positive results too.

This was my first time having a Chemical Peel and I was really nervous! The minute I walked in I knew I was at the right place! This place is very inviting and Bree (front desk) was very friendly and knowledgeable! Hillary the Esthetician made me feel so comfortable and explained the entire process in detail! She was also very knowledgeable and suggested other procedures I could do to help my skin! Thank you Avalon! I have found my new go to place for all my skincare needs!

Just had my consultation with Dr. Tirgari. Both my girlfriend and I were very impressed. She ended up getting botox and was very happy with how it went. The staff were super friendly and the overall experience was much easier than either of us expected.
We will both definitely come back.

I have had good treatments with both Hillary and Lauren. Hillary does gentle and through chemical peels and paid special attention to my worries. I will be coming back for more treatments in the future.

I did it! I was the type of person who thought she would never need Botox but at age 55 I decided I needed to do it so I did. The staff of Avalon Laser is amazing. I went to their Carlsbad location and met with Dr. Tirgari and he made me feel comfortable and reassured of my decision to go ahead.
So finally … I’m very happy! The results turned out very natural and «not frozen» and will definitely be going back, not only for Botox but for other services too.

Dr Tirgari was great! I had liposuction done on my tummy & inner thighs. He explained everything in detail so I would know what to expect before and after the procedure. It went smoother than expected and I am very pleased with my results! Thank you!

Even though this was my second peel I was a bit nervous and Hillary, the aesthetician, put me at ease with her thorough explanation of the peel and what to expect both during and after the procedure. She showed great concern for my comfort and satisfaction and even asked me to check in with her in a few days to follow up and to call her earlier if I needed to with any questions. Both the downtown location and Carlsbad are inviting, very clean and professional yet unintimidating. And both aestheticians were knowledgeable and caring. I have been to Avalon Laser in Carlsbad twice now and both times I was impressed by how friendly and accommodating the staff was. Sometimes the beautiful women who work in this type of bussiness are quite snooty. Lauren (the nurse) and Katrina (the receptionist) are both gorgeous women who are also very professional, very knowledgeable and personable. I received great service and felt well taken care of. They made me feel comforable and at ease. Even the first photo facial treatment they did made a big difference for my skin. I highly recommend this place.

Love the staff and the doctor here. My friend gets her Botox done here and recommended it to me. I went for a series of laser treatments and my results have been terrific.
The consultation with the doctor was very frank and honest. Also, both the esthetician and nurse were great! Compared to a lot of other places, I felt like these guys knew what they were doing.

I liked the facility clean and comfortable. I purchase a 2 series Jessner peel. I have done 1 in November takes at least 1 week to fully peel :/

I went to Avalon’s Banker’s Hill location for the first time about a month ago. I had a very plesent experiance. Amanda was so helpful and knowledgable about the services and products I felt instantly comfortable. The rest of the staff is very friendly, great atmosphere and reasonably priced.

After seeing the high Unilocal reviews I thought this is the perfect place to go. I was wrong. Do NOT go here. The doctor may seem nice and charming, but after a few minutes his true colors show. He is a very pompous arrogant man. He will make assumptions and judge you and belittle you. In other words,

I came to Avalon Laser to find out more information about laser hair removal and ended up signing up on the spot. The spa is gorgeous and everyone is super friendly. I haven’t finished my sessions but have already noticed pretty impressive results.
Using laser is actually a lot less painful than waxing so if you are thinking about doing it, I can honestly say — don’t wait. It is well worth it.

I’ve been a laser hair removal client of Avalon for over 2 years now and initially used to go to their San Diego office. When they opened in Carlsbad, I transferred my laser hair appointments and have been going on the weekends I visit family.
Basically, my results have been wonderful. My bikini and legs are smooth and basically hair free. Julia, Lauren and the entire staff are very friendly and efficient. They have also been very honest and haven’t tried to oversell me on services I didn’t need. When I asked whether I needed Botox, they were pretty straightforward and told me it wasn’t time, and to save my money. You rarely get that kind of honesty nowadays and I really liked that.
I’ve also had a couple of facials and chemical peels done with Stephanie and frankly she beats anyone, hands down. I’ve been very happy with the service here.
