John followed up with me quickly even though he had hand surgery scheduled. He found the leak quickly and charged us an incredibly fair rate. He gave us a referral for the work and they came out the following day. They did a great job fixing the leak and charged a very reasonable rate as well. We are very happy with our entire experience with John and recommend him highly.

John has been so helpful. We called him out to check for a leak and take a look at a secondary issue. Turned out to be a bigger problem then we assumed. John was very thorough in getting to the source of the problem and has gone above and beyond to help get it taken care of. He called a few recommended contractors to get our job underway, evening coming back with one of them to fill him in on the problem. Thank you John.

It was 9pm on Memorial Day weekend when my daughter noticed the carpet in her room was soaked and the paint on the wall was bubbling and filled w water. I quickly went on Unilocal to find a leak detection service that would answered my call. John, the owner, quickly responded and came out to find the leak and brought a plumber to come out and had it fixed in less than 24hrs. John was very courteous, honest, professional, and located the leak inside our walls quickly. He also spent time on the phone to help us locate the water mane so we can turn off the water to prevent further damage until he can come over. I’m very impressed w the service he provided and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this business.

John is the ultimate small business owner, a genuine good guy. I had a leak in my main irrigation line (pressure side) with no apparent wet spots. I talk with John about the problem and we discussed various potential causes. John suggested I probe around the valve manifold with rebar to see if I could find a soft spot. If that didn’t prove fruitful, call him back to discuss other methods. He told me in his experience 80% of this type of leak is in the pressure manifold. Sure enough after 1 minute of probing I found the soft spot and uncovered the leak even though there was no moisture in the first six inches over the leak. John certainly could have just quoted me a rate and come over and found the leak, but he didn’t. He was very happy to discuss the problem and help me find it on my own and said that was his preference for that type of leak. Thanks so much John.

John is flat out awesome. We had a leak at our home that was spreading. We had a plumber come out to look at it but they said to call a leak specialist and gave me 2 referrals. I looked up reviews and wasn’t comfortable. I called a few places and John was the only one who called me back (one hour later).
We set up a time to meet only after he had me check a few things just in case the problem could have been diagnosed over the phone. I appreciate that he was trying to save me money and time had it been a quickly identifiable (garden variety) issue.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a quick solution. John was at my place for 1 – 2 hours before he found the source of the problem. It was a tricky leak that other plumbers had not been able to identify in the past because they thought it was coming from the garage. I didn’t want to hear that I had a cold slab leak in my downstairs bathroom but that was clearly the case. John talked me through the whole process and gave clearly defined action steps to get the problem taken care of. He even referred me to an awesome plumber that m wife really likes.
John is super professional, refreshingly honest and an all around awesome person. Should you find yourself in my shoes one day staring at a leak that you don’t understand and cannot locate, I’d recommend giving AAA Leakmaster a call.

Went surfing today in Carlsbad. Was out for three hours and I was so burnt out I forgot to load my surfboard into my truck! John from AAA Leakmaster saw me leave my board in the parking lot. On a Friday afternoon we discovered from our water meter that we had an underground leak, and I was resigned to a weekend of wasting water. John came out Saturday morning and spent several hours working non-​stop to locate the source of a very puzzling leak under the concrete. We were completely impressed with his expertise and determination. He was also very personable, explaining the detection process and answering all our questions as he went along. He did locate the leak, and charged what we considered to be a very reasonable price. Finally, he even offered to come back, if necessary, if we discovered other problems. On Sunday, we tore up the concrete, dug to the pipe, and found the leak where John had said it would be. I give AAA Leakmaster an unqualified recommendation.

I had been having problems with a leaky upstairs bedroom window that a previous company had determined needed to have all the stucco around it removed and reflashed. I called John at AAA, he came out and told me the other companies repairs were totally unecessary, and fixed the problem in half the time at three quarters less the price. You just don’t get service like that anymore. I was beyond happy. Seriously, use these guys, you will not be disappointed.

John located a leak in my home today and I could not be more satisfied. He was timely, professional, thourough and I was comfortable having him in my home. He was able to locate a slow drip in a difficult place to get to. It was a long day but he not only made sure he found the exact location of the leak but that the plumber would have acres from upstairs and down. I could not be more thankful for his honesty and commitment to excellence. His flat leak detection rate also saved me a fortune, it would have cost about $ 800 in hourly wages for a plumber. I would not hesitate to call him again or reccomend him to anyone.

These guys are your best friends for a tragic situation. They are profoundly honest and decent people who charge very fairly for their work. In our last visit, they even came back unprompted on a whim to test their suspicions for another potential source of a possible slab leak without making an additional charge. they died it because it had occurred to them overnight that the second area could also be a problem spot.
Again, u can’t say enough great things about their honesty, integrity and fairness. We are lucky to have them in business.
