Sometimes you discover your best talents later in life. I’ve always been an adequate artist, but I’m a fantastic custom picture framer. My studios reflect my same basic philosophy that my job is to make you look great. Whether framing your special item, designing jewelry that looks and feels wonderful on you, or providing the unique gift for your occasion. Pat Craig Studios is a fun shop in a beautiful downtown arts district. Bring your lunch, BYOB, and enjoy our lovely courtyard or bring some friends and take in the whole Shop The Block neighborhood. We are part of an award winning neighborhood merchant association dedicated to creating better businesses through creating better communities. I’ve been a working artist all my life, evolution is my best friend. Having raised a wonderful family in a charming country home, I’m now a grandmother splitting my time between various studio works in a walk up urban apartment over my retail shop in the heart of a historic commercial downtown district. Change can be VERY good for the soul, the spirit, the heart & the mind. I’ve been asked if I ever run out of ideas. So far, never. Now that the building renovations are finally coming complete, I can’t wait to jump out of bed and start to work each day. There’s jewelry to design, paintings to do, customers to meet with, framing to complete, gardening to care for, meetings to attend, restaurants to walk to, and new friends and old at every intersection. If you feel stuck in the rut of life, try something new, and if it doesn’t fit, try something else until it does. Fear No Change, and you too will soon be leaving the ordinary to others.
