I’m a Kimballs lifer and no matter what else I try, it’s best creamery style ice cream I’ve ever had! Every time! Whenever I’m in Middlesex I hit Kimballs for the infamous ‘kiddie size’. When it comes to quality, flavor variety, atmosphere and general experience, Kimballs tops all. Pitch n putt is a blast, the batting cages are great, the mini golf is fun — overall it’s a summer must

Fast and professional staff, clean facilities and the ice cream can only be described with two words… HOLYCOW! Worth the price, tip the workers. They are good!

My favorite place. I love ice-cream and this is my world! I always had a black raspberry with chocolate chip. It’s awesome! Maple walnut is also great :) their seafood is very fresh and delicious! Love it

I love Kimbals. This location has the classic New England ice cream vibe that I am always looking for. It has become a family tradition when we visit Boston. Tip: If you want a smaller portion, get the kiddie size. The small is a huge amount of ice cream.

Fantastic ice cream, very generous portions. Decent selection of flavors but I do wish they had more options without nuts. Unfortunately, they do not have a graham cracker flavor ice cream(go to nearby Great Brook Farm for that).

Worst service! Waited in line for 45 mins while the other lines moved much quicker. My line had a long hair boy working-took his time and keep going back and forth to each customer asking what they wanted.

We usually drive right by the Westford location to go to the Carlisle location. If you just want ice cream and want to avoid screaming kids and huge lines then go here. For me its worth the extra 7 mile drive.

Short and sweet. Best ice cream ever. Dirt cheap. Huge portions. Every flavor is delicious. I have made it my goal to try them all but the selection is so huge and new ones are added often as well as seasonally it will take me a while to accomplish that goal. Worth the drive from where ever you live in eastern mass I promise.

ENORMOUS servings of delicious, creamy, rich ice cream at this quaint roadside stand. Highly recommend. Has red and white checkered picnic tables and a few yard games. Say hi to the goat that is nonchalantly grazing next to the stand. FYI, my girlfriend and I could not finish their kiddie size cup of ice cream.

My favorite ice cream place! But be careful-a small here is a large anywhere else. Look at how much ice cream the people around you get before you order. Their ice cream is just very rich and flavorful. It’s not super fancy; it just tastes good and has large portions. There’s not much more to say; this place is good because the ice cream is good. If you want good ice cream, go here. If you don’t, don’t.

So much ice cream for so little money. If you like Coffee Oreo then get it and don’t bother looking at anything else. Otherwise, the Kahlua Crunch was good but I’d skip the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough if I were to go again. The Kimball’s Special is HUGE btw. If you have 3+ people I’d recommend it but it was a bit much for two(and I’m a pretty big eater). It basically is 3 types of ice creams on a sundae(about 2 scoops each) and then you get 3 toppings(fudge, whipped cream, strawberry, nuts). It’s delicious but a little crazy.

Even tho everyone else has probably said everything I’m going to say here … It’s so well deserved I needed to review This is incredible creamy delicious home made ice cream! So many flavors and so BIG! My small was easily a large anywhere else! It’s adorable here with hanging baskets of flowers and picnic tables … The person who waited on us was super nice even tho there must be a steady line all night long. If u haven’t been… GO! This was our first time and it’s going in the GPS!

What else can you ask for, Probably one of the best places to hang out whether its to get ice cream, mini golf(one of the best mini golf courses in MA), batting cages, bumper boats. Great for kids and adults.

I love their ice cream as do most others. If you are looking for freshly made, non-big factory ice cream then support your local farms like Kimball! They always have their standard 50 flavors which are really delicious combinations of all kinds of things. And then then have 1 – 2 unique flavors. Tonight I had the Salted Caramel Pretzel which was the perfect combination of salty and sweet. Also, unless you are VERY hungry for ice cream, go for the kiddie size which is still enormous.

If you are here with a group, consider getting(and sharing) the banana split. It is enough for 4 people!!! But that shouldn’t be a surprise since it’s Kimballs. It was so big they needed to put the banana split in a big cardboard tray so that we could better carry the huge thing. In the warmer months, make sure to visit the animals and bring bug spray!

I’m not from Boston and was here for work and in the mood for some local yummy-ness. This place has wonderful delicious ice cream and they let me try as many flavors as I wanted. I tried probably 5 different flavors, wanted to try more, but there was a line, so I had to make a decision. I went with the simple cookies & cream. It was so rich and creamy! I went during the summer; I think they had young college kids or maybe even high schoolers working and the young woman who helped me was very nice. It was kind of an overcast day, but there were still a good handful of people there, so I can imagine it getting pretty busy on a good summer day! Keep that in mind and have patience(: Two tips– like everyone else is saying order the Kiddie size! Seriously, if you don’t believe all of us, just ask what their sizes are(that’s what I did because I didn’t trust everyone else! haha). And, they do accept credit cards. Before I left, I saw a picture online that said no credit cards, so I made sure I had some cash. But when I got there, I didn’t see the sign, so I asked and yes, they now accept plastic!

AWESOMEICECREAM, every flavor(and they have many) seems to be done well ORDERTHEKIDDIESIZE… it’s not on the menu but they sell it & even the kiddie is larger than a double scoop at your normal ice cream shop —black raspberry: MMmm this was creamy & not too fruity, a great balance —moo tracks: yummy w/the reese’s —coconut almond chip; also a good choice, i don’t think you can go wrong w/any flavor to be honest, just sample a few & make a descision —whipped cream topping: not sweet which balances the sweet ice cream NOTE: when you are ordering pints to go, they pack the carton so full it’s overflowing & you can’t even cap it, so be prepared!!!(they wrap it in wax paper and put in paper bag but i can’t imagine that’d stop the ice cream from melting all over your car)

Aside from the super generous portions, great value, and delicious flavors, what I really like about this place is the grass area in the back(this is perfect for those who made the mistake of ordering 2 kiddie cones or a large cone and come down with food coma and need to lay down err nap before driving back to the city). I now know why Massachusetts has the highest ice cream consumption per capita in the country.

Love it! This ice cream stand is exactly 25 miles from my house when I bike. Perfect halfway mark! A large for under $ 5 is ridiculously large. I mean, I don’t think any normal person can(or should!) finish one. I’ve tried maple walnut, Maine black bear, rum raisin, etc. Plethora of options. There’s an old rooster running around. Fun! I didn’t see a corn maze; I think it’s just a ice cream stand.
