Elements

This place blows, you can walk around this place for an hour and not have anybody ask you if you need help. The showroom is pack to the point that where you can’t tell where one lamp begins and mother begins.

I’m currently working with Bruce as I remodel my home and he has been excellent thus far. Helpful and courteous and the store has such a great variety.

I went to Elements today to select lighting for an apartment that I am renovating in NYC. Joanna Sasso, the store’s general manager, came over to help me, since the store was quite crowded. Joanna was incredibly helpful and patient, spending almost 4 hours with me. She assisted me in selecting lighting for 2 bathrooms (2 overhead lights, 1 vanity light and 2 sconces), 2 bedrooms (2 overhead and 2 sconces) and my entry hall and provided much needed guidance on track lighting for my kitchen (which I will go back for — not her fault — I need more measurements!). She helped with questions of finish and even had staff change out light bulbs when necessary to ensure that the lights that I was selecting would provide sufficient illumination in each location. Joanna was thorough and detail-​oriented and I highly recommend her, and Elements.

I would give them a zero but unfortunately that’s not an option! The most unprofessional condescending unfriendly and definitely not accommodating store I have ever been to.
The manager who would give his name as the «only Bill» in the store was beyond unprofessional and had the audacity to tell me I should be thankful that he is taking time out of picking up his daughter to speak with me which was an offer of 10% on a new purchase not for the $ 12,00 chandelier that his worker with 18 years of experience sold me by telling me it would be the perfect fit for my remodeled living room after I gave him the measurements. And it was three sizes too small once we opened it to see how it would look.
He was not welling to accommodate me even for an exchange. He tells me if I don’t know what size to get then «I should have hired an interior decorator which is what people do»!! That is why I would never shop this or any other small retail store again!!! A very unhappy customer!!! Elements definitely does not care about its customers or for a return visit. Thanks for nothing.
